To optimize your effectiveness and efficiency is crucial for your result In today’s fast-moving Internet environment it’s more important than ever to know how to maximize your effectiveness and efficiency.

When surfing around on the Internet, there are tons of articles about efficiency, like this one that I love. However, it’s not so easy to find articles dealing with effectiveness and efficiency as an integrated process for best results.

How often does it happen to you that you are working around the clock, but you don’t get the results you’re expecting. Take a look and figure out if you’re doing the right thing.

To optimize your effectiveness and efficiency, you need to understand the effectiveness before putting in much efficiency. As always my favorite, James Clear has an interesting approach to the topic of effectiveness and efficiency.

Effectiveness and Efficiency are the Same but Different

After a hard days work with the feeling that not much has been achieved, it can be due to lack of both effectiveness and efficiency or only one of the two.

If both effectiveness and efficiency are essential, what then comes first?

The classical anecdote about if the chicken or the egg comes first, deal with more or less the same dilemma as effectiveness and efficiency.

Thus, effectiveness is very much connected to the goal of your mission. If you have your mission well defined, it shouldn’t cause you any problem to check whenever you want, if you’re on the right track or not.
