SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY
SCHOOL OF TEACHER EDUCATION AND LIBERAL ARTS languages and COmmuniCAtion depARtment
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN COMMUNICATion

I, do hereby solemnly pledge to uphold the ideals and principles of Saint Louis University and to keep myself worthy to render service to the best of my ability to our school, to our people, and to our country. So help me, God!
I, a graduate of Saint Louis University, do hereby commit myself to conscientiously fulfill my responsibilities and duties as SLU Alumni. To defend the name and the ideals of my Alma Mater. To remain a True Louisian at all times.
To do justice to everyone and to dedicate myself to the service of our Country and our God. So help me, God!
Louisans’ attributes of excellence, creativity, social involvement, and imbued with Christian Spirit were successfully demonstrated by all of you. Hence, the bestowing of your diploma on your graduation day. Congratulations!
It may be a cliché to say that graduation is not the end but the beginning of another milestone; yet, it is a reality. You need to move on to take bravely the responsibility of sharing your life, your knowledge, your skills, your profession, to the world. In doing so, you will be challenged to learn again as you apply what you previously learned. As citizens and workers of the 21st century communities and workplaces, it is also good to put to heart and be reminded of what Alvin Toffller said, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn”. Let the tatak ng louisiano be exhibited by you as you deal with your personal lives and as you practice your profession.
As you this new milestone that will challenge you to make your life and the lives of others more meaningful, be hopeful and joyful. This will entail from you a higher level of independence and full sense of responsibility which is possibly exciting yet frightening but be positive. As long as you must not forget that in everything you do, put God first so that He will direct you and crown your efforts with success (Proverbs 3:6)
Congratulations and I wish you all the best of success in life. God bless.
Thank you, BA COM Batch 2022! It has been an honor to be part of your academic journey. Congratulations on your success!
As you finally leave the portals of Saint Louis University to discover a new world, always remember that you have been equipped by your alma mater and your beloved families with the tools to navigate life. So, dream new dreams but never miss learning from LIFE and being em powered by failure and success. Come back to share the stories of your hard-won wisdom and impart invaluable insights to the BA COM program.
Harnessed by the LOUISIAN SPIRIT, make an impressive mark on the world. GO, BATCH 2022!
BA COM Batch 2022, Congratulations!
It’s been awesome to see how far you’ve come. I’m so happy and proud of each one of you!
Success is never linear. It is a journey with detours and turns. Sometimes you need to take a step back and re think, at other times, you’d need to take some risks and just go for it. Whatever life throws at you, I hope and pray that you stay on course in faith and keep dreaming a little bigger and aiming a little higher on each leg of the trip.
As William Shakespeare once wrote, “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts..”
Indeed.. may you play your parts well as you take center stage, May the Muse help you keep the dream afloat, Most of all, may the Lord grant the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed. (Psalms 20:4)
Caps off to you, dear Graduates, well done! Once again, Congratulations!

Four years have quickly passed, and here we are at the close of a significant chap ter in our lives. Being the pioneer batch to graduate from the K to 12 Basic Educa tion Curriculum is a feat, but making it in time during a pandemic is another level of achievement.
As Communication students of SLU, the program altered us to be on the go consis tently, to put together productions here and there - be it film or theater. However, the COVID-19 pandemic deprived us of two years of getting to know each other or simply enjoying each other’s company.
College! What a long and complicated ride you have been. But every minute of it gave us an assortment of emotions that we will profoundly miss and look back on. And to Saint Louis University, our undying grateful ness to you for sheltering us over the past four years. ‘Till we meet again, our alma mater.
I hope to see myself having a vacation in Switzerland, spending my own money from my job as a government employee, with my loved ones and friends.
When we were practicing for Drama Festival, and all of a sudden, classes were suspended. Little did we know that a pandemic was approaching.
I hope you re still alive and enjoying your life. If you read this, don't forget to strive even more, and shine even brighter.
Congratulations! Thank you for the all the laughter and friendship that we shared together. I hope to see you all soon in the near future.
In 10 years, I see myself still stressed, but I ve learned to deal with it better. I ve learned how to manage my time effectively and how to delegate tasks so that I can spend more time doing the things I love, like playing my favorite games or cosplaying using my hard earned money.
We ve been together a long time, and I know how hard you ve worked to get us here. You re a great person, and I m so proud of the person you ve become. In the past few years, we've had our ups and downs there were days when you were happy and days when you were sad, but you always kept moving forward because that s what makes sense to do. Also, if that job isn t making you happy anymore, at all means, please resign.
MESSAGE FOR BA COMM CLASS 2022
It s been a wild ride so far, and there's still a long way to go, many rejections to come, and a lot more breakdowns ahead. But hey, look how far we ve come! Let s celebrate the little wins along the way because they are so worth celebrating. I ve seen how supportive we are of each other through this whole thing, and it means so much to me to see you all working together like this. Take a minute to reflect on what we ve accomplished so far we all deserve it!
Joining STELLARIS, the official student publication of STELA, and being part of its editorial board is one of my most unforgettable memories in college.
Working with this group of people helped me improve my communication skills as well as develop leadership abilities because I had to lead discussions regarding various topics in our meetings, which required me to think outside the box.
It's the camaraderie I built with people that sprouted a lot of beautiful memories.
Always choose the path that will make you the happiest in the long run.
There was no easy way out from our academic journey, but I m immensely proud that we made it this far, making ourselves shine the brightest.
You will be judged and misunderstood yet you will also be praised and supported. You will lose, but certainly you will find your way back up. Definitely, there will be uncertainties but I will always believe in you. No matter what the future holds, I am the proudest. Above anyone, it is only me and God who knows more of your struggle, your efforts, and your sacrifices. Always keep your head up and your feet on the ground.
Can't wait to see everyone turning their own "Direk, ready na po ako for 'mature roles " into real professional work.
Meeting people from different walks of life is my most unforgettable memory at SLU. Too many to mention, but generally, it is. I met people in BA COMmunity with overflowing potentials, skills, wisdom, and knowledge. I get to learn with equally great and motivational professors. I get to expand my network, upskill myself, and get inspired through the people I encounter in and outside the university unexpectedly, personally, or academic based. Most significantly, I get the chance to be part of and lead our university’s official student publication, White & Blue. I owe half of my sanity to this publication to thrive in this college journey, surviving personal and academic demands. It would take me days or weeks to narrate everything but the people I met would surely have a special place in my heart.
In all honesty, I am unsure of what the future holds for me after I graduate at the SLU. However, I am looking forward into becoming a filmmaker one day and bring my stories and concepts to life. I am also looking into working as a concept artist who will be creating and conceptualizing looks for particular fictional characters since I am fond of digital arts. But for now, I'll start to basics first in applying for a social media graphic artist
Although this experience was done virtually, I will never forget that time during the 2021 SLU Virtual Arts Festival wherein I got to solely represent not just the BA COM course but also the entire STELA. It was during that time in which I got to fully utilize and share my skills in digital arts in a broader context. It was also the fondest memory of mine because about 1,500+ people (comprising my families & relatives and friends) who fully supported my entry by reacting and sharing my artwork based on the theme "Gifted to Give", which led me to win both the 1st Runner Up and the People s Choice Awards. I am still proud for what I had accomplished for our school at the Saint Louis University and this experience of mine will forever be my most unforgettable memory in SLU.
Thank you all for being a part of my college journey! No goodbyes, just see you soon. :D
The message that I will always provide to my future self is that "It s not about being the best, it s about trying your best. Continue to create, share, improve, and love the process.
"
Everytime I encounter this question, I am really having a hard time to think about it. All I know is that 10 years from now, I believe that I know what I really want and I was able to be my true self. Surrender the pen of your life to God and let Him write the best story for your life.
Hi Thor, A lot of people will drag you down, a lot people will not believe in everything that you can do, but always remember that you have yourself. Always love yourself and be humble. One step at a time and you will reach your destination.
Om my stay at SLU, I had a lot of unforgettable experiences. One of which was when I need to present our group news paper but at the same time, we have to perform on an event as part of The SLU Glee Club. What I did was, after performance, I ran so fast to our classroom, still wearing my glee costume. As a working scholar, it was really challenging, but still I am so grateful that I was able to finish my college on time and be able to help myself and my parents.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST UNFORGETTABLE MEMORY IN SLU?
Eating galore with Tanghalang SLU people. Chikahan til midnight. My BMPM co'interns.
can do this, just repeat and apply your old
I can see myself ten years from now living the best life I have imagined when I was a kid.
I hope you made it, Bill! I hope your heart is genuinely happy right now living the best of life. I know that life is rough most of the times but I also know how tough of a person you are. I will always be proud of you no matter what so keep living! 06-15-23
The last thing I wanna hear from you all is doubting yourselves. I have seen the potentials and skills of this batch and I still cannot get over the fact that I belong to this magnificent batch. See you all soon and have a blast!
It would always be those moments outside the classroom where I get to bond with my friends, blockmates and people whom I met during college. Those moments where I learned so much about being by myself, being my true self and learning so much more about life.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST UNFORGETTABLE MEMORY IN SLU?
Ma'am Doi made me look like an idiot on my first day of college.
My career path being successful, a business owner, and a simple yet elegant life 've been wanting.
The abortion steps, no further explanation. Alam niyo na agad.
For what it s worth: it' s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be.
Mahirap humanap ng pera sa kurso natin pero mas mahirap hanapin ang sarili kapag nawala na natin. Tandaang "hanap buhay" ang kailangan at hindi "hanap pera"
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF 10 YEARS FROM NOW?
Successfully and happily living the life I deserve with my college sweetheart.
My most unforgettable memory in SLU was when I was continuously absent in my classes for participating in the SLU Dramafest, but was later cancelled due to the pandemic.
Wishing you all the best in life! Hope to see you all soon! Good luck on your future endeavors!
Keep striving, you got this! Strengthen your faith for the Lord is always by your side guiding you.
Living my life to the fullest, enjoying my career in the field of Multimedia Arts.
Everyday, every moment, is unforgettable. There are no dull moments. But there is one thing that I am certain in my 4-year stay in the University: I have grown to be the best version of myself and I have conquered every battles in my life all because of this one of a kind Family.
Isang malaking pasasalamat sa handog niyong nagu umapaw na pagmamahal. Isang karangalan na makasama kayong tumawa, lumuha, matakot, magalit, mainis, at mangarap. Mahal ko kayong lahat! Mabuhay, mga bagong alagad ng Midya!
Hang on. The best is still yet to come. MESSAGE TO YOUR FUTURE SELF
10 years from now, I see myself as a successful celebrity photographer where I shoot big brands, local brands and international brands.
Most unforgettable memory in SLU is when I shifted from Biology to Communication Arts was a roller coaster feeling. I had anxieties, fear, and breakdowns. Almost I needed to go back to our province and study there instead. With the help of myself, I stayed and I did it. SLU is the birthplace of my dreams.
When the time comes that you are losing hope and focus, take some break. Do whatever you needed to do to go back to your first love, to go back to the reason why you started. It will take time to find your happiness but you will never stop growing. Don t be afraid of things that scare you, remind yourself to continue chasing dreams even people don t see.
CLASS 2022 is a home. Where we experience love, hate, betrayal, growth, peace. My message is more than just a thank you, but recognizing the good in our 4years of being together amidst shadows.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF 10 YEARS FROM NOW?
Working in a big company as a content creator or a graphic designer.
May you never forget what you' ve been through in your college life.
Challenges are only temporary but your achievements are permanent, never ever give up on the things you are fighting for.
Left my exam test paper 50 items blank and yet I passed because of my prelims and midterms grade is high.
I hope you will always see the happiness in the darkest days of your life, I know that our life is always unfair. We don t have much to offer but please keep giving your 100% on things that makes your life shine. I know we always want help other people even do we don t have anything left to use for ourself, we may always be helpful to our family, close friends, friends or ac' quaintance even do they forget you when the times that you needed them the most always remember to always be good. It doesn t matter if your rich or poor right now, what matters is you always do good because you know deep in your heart that is always the right thing to do. Continue to distance yourself to toxic environment, and continue to always make people smile specially yourself. Stay strong, and we can reach what we want to reach.
There is this one time I was late for my NSTP subject and then out of nowhere when I was on my way to campus, my pants suddenly ripped from the groin part and when I arrived at the main gate the guard stopped me, I was confused why did he stopped me, because I have my ID, I am in my proper uniform, or in short I don t have any viola' tion, but the guard mentioned that I was wearing ripped jeans which is my pants that ripped earlier. After that I was sent to the OSA and filed for wearing ripped jeans that tore in the groin part. Kidding aside, I won t forget the hectic and stressful weekdays of TV and radio production to the care free and glorious moments of party and nightlife with batch mates and friends.
First of all I would like to thank my two first buddies TJ Avila, and Dexter Olairez by making my freshman year as fun as it gets. Second I would also like to thank all my batch mates for being good to me and giving me a fun environment to spend my college life. Third I want to thank Jelleson, Sweetzel, and Jesselle for being my side for our academic endeavors and joy. Lastly I am most grateful to my best love'bird friends Dexter Olairez and Aira Estabillo for being there for years through tough times and good times and by sticking with me until now.
I see myself as more mature andmore robust to venture into things I m foreign ad clueless. I don t have a specific place where I see myself, but wherever that will be, I m sureit's where happiness is valued, andopportunities never run.
It was during the first day of my first year that I had lunch with strangers; some eventually became my family. Right from that moment, I knew I had chosen the right people.
Congratulations, everyone! We all did despite setbacks from the pandemic, and that is something we should all be proud. Also, I wish each of us that may we never outgrow the love for the people we became friends with and eventually became our family. Cheers to growing old and never growing apart!
Do what you can, when you can, and how you can, and if you can t, you can t.
Ten years from now, I see myself retired from 5-8 jobs and started my own business.
2nd year-1st sem "The hell semester" pero we survived naman kaya di siya masyadong memorable pero yan na lang, wala akong malagay eh.
Pioneer batch of K-12, first batch to experience the new curriculum, and faced irregularities in school due to the pandemic yet, we survived. I am vv proud of y'all beshungs!
You're doing great! Remember how far you've come if you ever feel like the world is crashing. Breathe, pause, and appreciate the goals and plans you once imagined. You' re already there. Don't forget to live the present. The 22-year old Ian is very proud of you.
P.S. I wish all our cats, Yuki, Sachi, Kohi, Shiro, Haku, and Shiro Lite, are still alive and living a healthy, happy life with you.
If you’re as lucky as I have been, your life in SLU can mirror Friends, Big Bang Theory, or How I Met Your Mother. Friends become family, and the most unforgettable memories and unbreakable bonds can be formed.
Always remember to do whatever makes you the happiest. Carve out a path for yourself that will lead to the most satisfaction. If you allow your fear to get the best of you, you'll never forgive yourself.
Hello, future self. I hope you are doing fine. Perhaps you already have all the things we dreamt about when we were young – the goals that kept you going and the reasons for your hard work. Or well, maybe not. Either way, I hope you are proud of yourself –I hope you're happy.
Ten years from now, I see myself as hardworking, determined, and successful in whatever work or job I want and to become in the future.
Meet new people, make new friends, per form work and activities in the field of Mass Communication, work as an intern in a City Government office, and join a film documentary contest.
There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. You all made a difference. Thank you so much. Thanks to all of you for being so sweet and giving me everything I need to be happy. With all of you, I have plenty enough for me, my love. I love you all until the end of my days. Good luck to all of us and our endeavors.
The future is bright and beautiful. Love it, strive for it, and work for it.
My next ten years is as blank as the next page of my favorite journal; unpredictable and willing to be scribbled on. It is hard to guess what the universe will allow me to be within those years, but like the last ten years of my life, I know that I will be able to accomplish my purpose in that time period. That said, if I can have a wish or make a guess, in the next ten years I m going to finish my degree in film school or maybe the ten year mark will be me as a freshmen once again. That, or, in the next ten years, I would have landed a job as a writer or a communication marketer; hopefully settled and happy.
To you future Beck, you have done well. You have accomplished what people expected you to you gave your heart to studying and being the person that will not cause any harm or disappointment to the people that you love most. Now that this chap' ter of your life is finished, please start working hard to be present for yourself, because now you don't have to worry about what you have to do for other people because everything that you will be doing is for yourself.
Now, your life starts, and I want you to be present and find little joys in everything; even the smallest things. You have been romanticizing your life up to this point, so why stop, right? Continue being a dreamer and be kind.
There were actually a lot of memories in SLU that I cherish; moments spent with great friends, block mates, and overall just basking in the essence of the University life, those are all moments that I would like to keep close to my heart in the future. But among all of these, my favorite was spending Valentines day and the Christmas Season in the main campus of SLU. These are those rare moments wherein I get to enjoy just spending time with people with great music, great food, and unforgettable atmosphere. I remember the thrill of looking forward to seeing people perform their poems, their songs with their bands, and etc., it was comforting indeed.
In addition, for the special mention, of course I wouldn't forget those long days of pre production, production, and post'production with my BACOM family. It taught us hard work, dedication, commitment, creativity, and most importantly, it taught me that even with being 8 hours away from home, I can still feel the closeness of people.
MESSAGE FOR BA COMM CLASS 2022
It's a shame that we have been robbed of two years of enjoying each other s company but I do want to thank each and everyone of you for making this journey fun. We have strived to be the best versions of ourselves. Seeing how hard working and dedicated each and everyone of you is, I know that we are all meant to be great. I wish you all well and let's see each other as supernovas in the field of communication in the future.
My best memory as an SLU student was when we became a part of the Top 10 in Bayan Mo Ipatrol Mo Digitales. It was great and fun, and I also had a good time bonding with my team and other qualifiers
I see myself contented and happy with whatever I have, career and life have no specific field in mind right now, but my main goal is to live life with no regrets; ten years after now, I to achieve that, at least I hope so.
Dear future Maika, This is from your 23-year old fresh graduate self who has absolutely no plan for you. You must think I m pretty stupid trying to write a letter for you when we both know you ll know better than I do, but I'm here anyway because we also both know you ll need it.
Future self, I hope you ll be happy to look back when you see this. I hope you wish you could go back in time and tell me everything will be alright. I hope you are living a life so much better than what is in my head right now, and if you don t, it's okay; I ll be the one to tell you that everything will get better eventually. I am proud of you and will always be, even if nobody else would say that. You re all good; you re exactly where you need to be, don t put too much pressure on yourself. I can t wait to meet be you! See you in a few years!

I see myself living a successful life with my family. And prayeRfully, travelling the
Shoots. Unending video shoots from day to night.
Pre prods, prods, and post prods. Busy days and sleepless nights during productions. Staying at different cafes during post production until morning. Hay, I miss that.
Exam preparations. I am reviewing at a friend’s apartment and different coffee shops until midnight to survive sleepiness.
Coffee breaks. These are my core memories and my favorite things during my stay at SLU.
Thank you, mga vebz! I am And will always be proud of you all. Good luck with our new journey. May we find ourselves doing what we love and being happy with where we are in the future. May the Lord bless you always! Love, Dyaz.
I see myself at a place where I genuinely enjoy and love what I am doing.

We are in a much better life, right? We're living the life we 've always prayed for, right?
Right now, I have no clear plans. I don't have something I can be proud of and just like other college graduates out there, I am afraid and I am pressured. But, I hope someday when you get to read this again, the answer will be YES!

I had a hard time paying for my tuition fee. I'll never forget how little and ashamed I felt when I was in the finance office where zero compassion was given.
I still feel sick to my stomach whenever I go there. But what I will take to heart is when I received a call from the department that they will help me pay for my fees. I cried my eyes out because a flood of compassion drowned me right after.
Retired in New Zealand. Hopefully, in love. It' s been awful lately. So 10 years in, I just want it to be a little less. It d be nice to have a name for myself too. And maybe, just maybe, my daughter can be proud of the mom I turned out to be. Pretty vague but, okay, I want to claim one clear thing you don't know if you love or if you hate.

I m awkward and not super expressive, but I truly am so proud and happy for everyone here. We made it! Big thanks for all those who bothered to make memories with me!

I do not have a clear set goal to reach for myself as of now. But, I can see myself doing various things especially great adventures that will be worth telling to the next generation.
Anything that I said I ll never do, but I get to experience while in SLU: Donate blood (as required by NSTP)
Jog around the city (my most hated exercise + hobby of my coach in taekwondo)
Swim in Baguio (at 7AM!)
Of course, my friends! (college life wouldn t be complete without them)
Hope you all reach your goals!
I look forward to seeing all of us happily successful in life!

A lot could happen in ten years but I hope 31 years old Dani is in a place where she's comfortable in her sense of self and at the same time striving for constant progress as a person, friend, writer, broadcast journalist, lawyer, social media manager or whatever it is that I chose to become.
I hope I am somewhere happy, enjoying my job(s), and surrounded by people who have thick faith in my capabalities. Also, I hope I am able to help our countrymen in ways that I am privileged with. Lastly, I hope I never stop sharing stories through art or literature, just so we can let the stream of creativity and wildest thoughts flow continuously.
Hi, future Dani! As you are reading this, I hope you are in a good place (physically and figuratively) I know you are making it big and I also happen to know that it gets tiring. I hope you try your best to eat well and take time to rest. I hope you remain kind and patient with how we deal with things. All I am saying is I hope you remember to take care of us in ways that you can. I also hope you will always remember the people who loves you when the days are heavier than usual. I hope you establish stronger bonds with them. Lastly, celebrate yourself and the beauties that comes from you more often, you deserved it.
Whoever you are right now and whatever things that make you happy, know that I am happy and beyond grateful for you, so let yourself be.
There are handful of memories that I consider monumental but I think it's the mundane things that I consider the sweetest chitchats in the hallways masked as reviewing" while waiting for the exam room, getting snacks during breaks with friends, going home at dawn after a whole day of production works, sharing random conversations about childhood with classmates, and just being "present" in countless occassions of being a student.
Yup, I think those are a lot for a "most unforgettable" memory, and I think that's the point, forgetting college and SLU is very close to impossible.
Cheers to us in becoming the peo' ple that we aspire to be! Thank you for the experiences that I got to spend with each of you! Have a calm but vibrant life! I ll see you around. always, tiyang dani <3
m living my best life while pursuing a career in either broadcasting, digital publishing, or ll see when I get there.
Hi, future self! The working world is brutal, but I know you're tougher. May you never lose the burning passion within your heart. Yes, rest and cry if you must, but don't forget why you started and bounce back better. Stay grounded to the morals they taught you in your younger years.
I'd like to thank all of you for sharing the good and bad times. Each of them served as lessons and memories I'll never forget. As we move out to the real world, may we never forget our purposes: to fearlessly uphold the truth with no bias and let our creative side be an inspiration and a source of comfort during these uncertain times.
I'll never forget the day when I watched RetroSTELA in 2018 with my friends and screamed at the top of my lungs while writing about it for our school publication.
Remember where you started. Always be grateful and keep in mind that you got this! Life isn’t hard if you have a purpose. Keep moving with the help of God.

Hopefully, I already have a successful business that gives me the freedom to do what I want. Also, I'm hoping that I married my College sweetheart (haha)
Besides ma'am Doi s incredible teaching style in class, my most unforgettable memory in SLU is meeting new people that I now consider family.
Thank you everyone for giving me one of the best four years of my life. To all the people who helped me along the way, I m grateful for all the laughter we shared and the memories we made together. Love you all!
Someone with confidence in herself and with a better interpersonal communication skills who is not afraid to take risks and takes every opportunity that comes.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST UNFORGETTABLE MEMORY IN SLU?
All the sleepless nights going through all the steps of making prods.
You found your light and trusted yourself again. I' m so proud of you.
10 years from now I can see myself in a good position and working with a reputed company with a good salary.
I always wanted to see myself grow in management with good skills and more knowledge where I can make decisions and apply all what I have learned in my college studies. I can see myself accomplishing tasks and achieving success together with my team.
Hello Ellen Mae!
I hope you have already achieved the success that you deserve. But more than that, I hope you still act in an honorable and respectable way while you are already achieving your dreams. I hope you made your parents more proud of you. I know that through determination, commitment, and enough faith you will be able to overcome all the obstacles that you have to face on your continuous journey. Always remember to do everything with purpose and certainty. Remember who you were when you wrote this message, and look how far you have come. I am and will always be proud of you!
My most unforgettable memory in SLU is learning what really the tough skills of life is such as discipline, sincerity, dedication, struggles, faith, commitment, experiences, joys, and most important is friendship.
Finally! We made it guys! Congratulations to all of us! All of our hard works has finally paid off and I am and will always be proud of all of us.
The most unforgettable moment for me during my whole stay at SLU was when we were all culture shocked by how our instructors gave examinations during our first year. There was this subject where it was mostly identification and fill in the blanks. It was tough for us since we were unaware that every detail was essential. Many students from the two blocks cried, and we comforted each other. This moment proved how dedicated everyone is to doing good in our chosen field and, at the same time, how we value each other's feelings despite just knowing each other for a short period.
Honestly, I'm not a futuristic person who plans their future ahead of time or often thinks about what I ll be 5 or 10 years from now. I am a go with the flow type of person, and it scares me that time flies so fast; after a few years, I am reaching 32. But, one thing s for sure, in ten years, I know I want the basic stuff of life, love, family, happiness, contentment, and the opportunity to pursue my dreams and goals without sacrificing one. I believe that reaching that point of stability in my life is my vision for my 32-year old self.
Hi, self! I hope that you re doing well. I am very proud of you, no matter your reach or who you ve become. I know that life keeps challenging you, but you ve managed to survive. Life is a journey of growth and self identity; I hope you've discovered yours. Keep on being yourself and do what you love as you continue to be happy. Know your priorities but still don't forget to enjoy. I hope you re slowly achieving what we dreamt of; however, remember that baby steps are still progress, so don t rush, don t be pressured; you have your family, friends, God, and most especially, me.
To my fellow communicators, look where we are now. The last time I checked, we were just mere freshmen waiting in the hallway, searching for the person or people we ll be vibing with for the rest of the semester. Now, we've managed to build a bond, a friendship, but most importantly, a family. It s just unfortunate that we couldn t make the most out of our four years together due to the pandemic; still, I m grateful for you guys. You made my whole college years extraordinary and bearable. Rooting for everyone s success, and I ll be forever proud that I am a part of the CLASS 2022 Communication students of Saint Louis University.

Thank you for not giving up, because look at you now; you got to achieve your dreams.
I appreciate the friendship, wisdom, and knowledge that you have shared. I hope you all will be happy, and I always pray for your success.
My unforgettable memory in SLU is when I became a working scholar while juggling my degree, Mass Communication.
The mumbles of conversing students while we walk on the hallways, the sound of the church bell every 12 noon and 6:00 pm, the greetings of my friends and classmates, and the stories and teachings of our professors. These are the things that are
Give yourself a pat in the back. You ve gone through a lot and sometimes you don t even appreciate the things you do. Stop pretending that you're happy and strong at the times that you aren t, and remember that s okay not to feel okay sometimes. Don t pressure yourself, you re doing well.
Look at where you are now and tell yourself that YOU DID WELL!

Commares and commpares, we made it and papunta na tayo sa exciting part! Love, 1010.
In the next 10 years, I see myself running several businesses and spending time with my family, friends, and special someone. This may be a simple ambition or dream in life, but I’ ve always imagined living a simple and peaceful life basking in the sun during the day and watching the sky turns into its sea of blues, and lying underneath a lamp at night where I can enjoy watching my favorite series. I aim for a luxurious life that centers on peace of mind
It was the day I graduated from SLU. This was the day I'd been waiting and working hard for'all the sacrifices, sleepless nights, and breakdowns are now all worth it. The University ground is packed with people who survived college and people who helped them survive college. Our smiles and laughter that day is the most wonderful memory I can ever imagine, we all graduated and I think that would be my most memorable memory in SLU.
Thank you for all the wonderful and ‘kabaklaan’ memories with you guys!
My college journey would never be this exciting without you all. Congrats, class 2022!
You did great today. You will always do great tomorrow!
Finishing the day strong; From back to back performances/productions to group reporting is what a normal day for a BA COM student is. It is such an unforgettable memory for me to juggle different activities for the day and to learn about my limitations in the professional field.
It would be a superficial answer for me to say "I see myself doing the work I love" knowing that I can't predict the future thus, regardless of what my occupation is 10 years from now I definitely see myself moving forward and continuously challenging myself.
BA COM CLASS 2022!
We did it! To my dear batchmates I hope you all find your purpose and vision in life.
Ten years from now, I see myself loving the career I chose and living the life I ever dreamed of -- being a CEO and peacefully contented with the simple life of my future family.
After all these years, thank you for always doing your very best. I cannot wait to see you reaping the fruits of your sacrifices. Never lose heart and be patient with your dreams. You are getting there, Sophie.
My most unforgettable memory is that when I started to become true to myself, it led me to find friends worth keeping for life that made my college journey worthwhile.
I cherish you all, and I am rooting for all of your future successes!
Journeying with SLU is a beautiful mixture of joys and memories that remains forever vivid. It will always be remembered as the best four years of my life. The highlights were; staying at cafes with Lakbayan Productions for our "Huwag Wag Ba?" documentary, daily walking sessions and "baon for lunch the tipid, peer reviews, sleepless nights for productions and waking up early at the same time for a 7:30 class, "back you, ma am doi" series, "bubunot na sir miel ng pangalan" recitations sa GART, RETRO Stela, roller coaster grades sa major subs and ofc GMATH, and moments with friends. <3
Congrats. You ve come a long way. Remember to breathe. Don t be disheartened if you're not getting anywhere. It's fine to wander through lifelooking for interesting things. You ll understandwhy you had to be where you are right now. You are here to create yourself constantly. Keepgoing and see what lies ahead.
Mga COMMares/COMMpares, thank you for making my SLU journey the best four years! Amazingness kayong lahat! CLASS 2022 means a lot to me. May it be good or bad, thank you so much for the memories. To my friends who helped me along the way, know that I am always grateful for your existence. Sabay sabay nating abutin ang mga pangarap. <3
Sana naman nagglow up ka na. Sobra sobrang delay na yan te.
Asan ka na kaya ngayon? Kung ano man yung narating mo, wag mo kakalimutang magpasalamat. Treasure the people na anjan palagi para sayo. Anyway. The brave do not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all." O may quote, dimo kaya. Kaya go lang vebs. Me, your cutie past self, is rooting for you! ❤
I didn’t have the chance to explore the campus before actual classes began. I was unfamiliar with the buildings, entrances, exits you get the picture. So since the entrance we took during the enrollment was via the Diego Silang lobby, I thought that was the main entrance to the university. I approached the guard at the Admin Office Bldg. and asked for the direction to P703 Perfecto Building where my first class is, to which he pointed the way beside Adenauer, leading to the 3rd floor of Perfecto.
I took that route: main gate > Diego Silang > Adenauer > 3rd floor Perfecto > 7th floor, going to school and vice versa going home. Only to find out more than a week later that there was actually a path via 4th floor Perfecto which directly leads to the main gate.
Thank you gagi. HAHA. Di man ako naging close sainyo pero sobra ko kayong naappreciate, pramis. Sana po maabot ninyong lahat kung anuman mga trip niyong abutin sa buhay. Makikipalanit tun ako. Hart hart mwa.

My most unforgettable memory at SLU is working with creative and talented young communication students during class performances and productions.
Take every opportunity to learn and gain experience.
Discover your side you never knew existed.
10 years from now, I see myself as a fulfilled Lawyer giving help and service to my fellow Filipinos, a loving wife, a mom of 3 or 5 cutiepie children, living in a farmhouse with lots of farm animals - sheep, horse, chicken, pig, bunnies, goats, and two
I'd say that my most unforgettable memory would be the times when my friends and I would laugh histerically and not minding the stares that we get from other people. We laughed during the most inappropriate times, going late to class all the way from Gate 5, during last minute reviews, classroom discussions, breaks, random hallway "salubong", and PE classes. Our "wa poise" laughter definitely one for the books!
To my batchies, everything is and will be kept safe in my heart. A thousand I love yous I always wish you well!
I see myself living the life I want ed and hopefully working with a company that I am happy with

First year, First Semester. Art Appreciation class under Sir Miel. We had an activity where we had to showcase art. At nag crayon melting ako. Lumipas ang panahon, madami pa rin sa kanila ang nakakaalala sa ginawa ko kaya naging memorable na rin sakin iyon. Doon ko sila unang napasaya at napatawa. I guess I melted not only the crayons but also their hearts. Choz.
I know you are happy with your life. You deserve all the best things in life because you work hard for all of them. Never doubt yourself ever again. You are enough. Be proud – be proud of yourself, be proud of the person you have become, and be proud of whatever you have accomplished so far. Don t forget to take care of yourself –breathe, travel and explore, read books, eat strawberry ice cream, play with your dogs, talk to your family, take photographs, and have fun with your friends. There are more things to experience. Keep learning and growing.
I will never forget August 6, 2018 to June 24, 2022 memories that I spend with all of you. Sana napatawa at napasaya ko kayo. Aside from academics, I learned much about life, beliefs, passion, and dreams from all of you. I cannot wait to see you all flying high and finally achieve your dreams. I will always clap for all of your achievements, even from afar. Just keep swimming, amazing people. Mahal ko kayo.
Happy and blessed in career, love, family, and life. May studio na ang Perspective by Jamie.

If my freshman self would answer this, she would confidently say that she see herself directing films and unfolding stories untold. But right now, 22-year old Kim is lost, and the future is a bit blurry for her today. But I hope, ten years from now, I am in the field I love, thriving in an environment where I grow film industry? advertising? doing business? having my own company? I still don t know where, but I hope I ll get to figure it out soon.
