There are too many of you to name; you know who you are - Thank you; Thank you; Thank you. It was a good day, but profits were down on last year’s effort. Many laughs were shared and I received wonderful feedback from one customer who said she heard our laughter from across the carpark and had to check out the cheerful bunch. Tai Chi is growing in numbers at the Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1pm. No age or experience limits - $5 per session. The “Rollingstone Rag” is a free community information service produced by Rollingstone & District Community Association, delivered to all full time residents of Rollingstone and the District by our local postie. While all efforts are made to deliver the “Rag” to everyone it is physically and logistically impossible to deliver all copies of the “Rag” in one day. We are asking for your patience, if you have not received the “Rag” within the first 7 days of the month call 47707855 to let us know. Food for thought “you will always catch more bees with honey than you will with vinegar”. Thank you to young Daniel who generously donated his board mounted train set to RaDCA for the enjoyment of other young people and the Playgroup. Local handmade Greeting Cards are available for sale for $4ea at the RTC. To those generous persons who top-dressed the path by washing your vehicle out front of the Op Shop earlier in the Month - Thank you, obviously you had no use for the sticky mud at your home, donating it to the Community Centre while using our water and leaving our hose uncurled on the grass. I can just imagine the hullabaloo if it was your grandmother who slipped in the mud on Monday morning. Let us hope this will not happen again. Roy Mackay who compiled a list of the Birds of the local district has now compiled a comprehensive list of Mammals of Rollingstone to compliment the Bird list. Both lists are available at the RTC. A collection point has been set up in the Community Hall to donate to the “Buy a Bale” (of hay) for our struggling farmers out west. The collection tin will also be on display during the Lions’ Club House opening with all donations being handed over to the Lions for distribution through their contacts. ***To add to Sue’s Community Shorts: Those of you who know Phil Priday will be pleased to know he's hopefully had his fourth and final operation to right the wrong his hiatus hernia has been causing. Wife, Irene, tells us that he's doing quite well and they're hoping for a really good outcome this time round. Way to go, Phil, from us all in Rollingstone……………………...Cheers Chris
