Co-creating a concept design at a master plan level for the site, we developed a 3 stage design solution. Bringing together the Jewish community and the students through common spaces. Strong references have been made to Jewish culture and heritage through materiality such as Jerusalem stone and bronze screens.

After the initial concepts were done by others in the office, I took over design development and overseeing documentation of the $6 million project. I hadmajor design influence both iexternally and internally. I have worked with the construction manager on site, to solve construction issues and design adaption.

Situated in countr yside Victoria, this $4 million project used local materials and referenced r ural architectural styles. I managed the project independently through design development, documentation and constr uction administration with the client and local city Including all constr uction detailing and internal fit out. Over the past two years I have worked with local NGO’s in India of the development a rural and isolated villages in South West India. We have been working on one area in particular constructing a new school, housing for teachers, and a community building for learning and gathering. Students from Swinburne have come with us to India were I have co-ordinated their roles during construction and liaising with the locals. Construction is usually completed with local material and simple construction methods, in order to allow residence to continue future work
