For those fortunate enough to attend Lior's previous solo performance at Laycock Street Community Theatre, this show will bring an extra dimension to his astounding vocals, with the backing of a string quartet drawn from Sydney’s finest orchestral players, along with bassist Brett Hirst. With lush arrangements gently embracing Lior’s angelic voice, this promises to be a magical evening.

"Mr Stink stank. He also stunk. And if it was correct English to say he stinked, then he stinked as well…” It all starts when Chloe, just about the loneliest girl in the world, makes friends with Mr Stink, the local tramp. Sure he smells a bit, but he’s the only person who’s ever been nice to her. So, when Mr Stink needs a place to stay, Chloe decides to hide him in the garden shed. Now Chloe's got to make sure no one finds out her secret, but she’s about to learn that some secrets have a way of leading to disaster. And speaking of secrets, there just might be more to Mr Stink than meets the eye… or the nose… The team behind The 52-Storey Treehouse Live on Stage returns with this touching, twisted, hilarious, and very smelly tale… hold on to your nose!

The Gothic horror story swoops the country in a gripping, critically-acclaimed production created by shake & stir. When young lawyer Jonathan Harker visits Castle Dracula deep within the Carpathian mountains, he's not expecting the strange hospitality he receives from his mysterious host. Alone and trapped within the castle walls, Jonathan discovers that Dracula wants more than his presence at the dinner table - he might also be the main course. Leaving Jonathan for dead and his castle behind, Dracula travels to London on a quest for seduction, true love and above all blood. S H I R L E Y VA L E N T I N E B Y W I L LY R U S S E L L This funny, but moving piece, won the award for Best Comedy at the 1988 Laurence Olivier Awards. It takes the form of a monologue by a 42-yearold Liverpool mother and housewife, Mrs Joe Bradshaw, before and after a transforming holiday to Greece. Inside Mrs Joe Bradshaw is the former Shirley Valentine longing to emerge. Her self-esteem battered by school, marriage and life in general, she finds herself talking to the wall while her husband is out working. She feels that her life is terribly mundane as she compares scenes in her current life with what she used to be like. When her best friend wins an all-expenses-paid vacation to Greece for two, Shirley grasps the opportunity to head for the sun and leave her current drudgery behind. The note in the kitchen reads “Gone to Greece, back in two weeks. With much humour, warmth, sympathy and human insight, Willy Russell brilliantly shows Shirley breaking out of the mould in which she was cast by society.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt is the wonderful story of a family out for a walk and on the lookout for a growling bear - they have to march through long swishy grass, wade through thick gloopy mud and even battle a snow storm before entering a big dark cave where maybe, they will finally spot the glinty wet eyes of a slobbering, gigantic bear winking at them through the blackness. This 55 minute, mini-musical captures the fun and frolics of a father who is clearly still a child at heart, his three children including a tiny intrepid bear hunter in the making, a baby strapped to dad’s back, plus the family dog and of course....a BIG BROWN CUDDLY BEAR! Settle in for this classic story, retold.

THE MERCHANT OF VENICE BY W I L L I A M S H A K E S P E A R E D I R E C TO R A N N E - LO U I S E S A R K S Money makes the world go around. Portia has it. Bassanio wants it. Shylock lends it. Antonio owes the value of it. Love also plays a part. Portia offers it. Bassanio wants it. And Antonio may lose a pound of flesh for it. This uncompromising and dark production explores the tense relationship and prejudices between those who have, and those who don’t. Dark in its humour and bawdy in its romantic hijinks, The Merchant Of Venice takes audiences on a journey of love, mercy and justice. Featuring three time Helpmann Award winner, Mitchell Butel (Janet King and Rake) as the defiant Shylock, and Jessica Tovey (Wolf Creek and Wonderland) as Portia, the production is directed by Anne-Louise Sarks (Belvoir’s Jasper Jones and Medea). This masterfully envisioned production tackles the prejudices and preconceived notions of one of Shakespeare’s most challenging plays.
