Position title: Early Childhood Educator; I/T program Location: Wiggles and Giggles Daycare; Fort St. John BC Terms: Permanent Full time 40 hours per week Salary: Competitive wages for level of qualification, benefits after 3 months Start Date: TBD Responsibilities: • • • • • • •
To work closely with the I/T year program team providing quality inclusive care To establish and maintain positive relationships with families, children and staff To maintain a clean and safe environment To interact directly with the children and aid in providing quality childcare and creative programming To ensure that all safety and supervision standards are followed and maintained To release children only to those authorized by parent/guardian, to ask for identification in order to ensure that the authorized pick-up has been verified To maintain confidentiality of all information related to the centre, the children, their families and staff
Requirements: • • • • • •
Early Childhood Educator license to practice (Certificate or Diploma) High level of organizational and customer service skills and asset Diplomas, certificates or other evidence of training related to child growth and development Current first aid 3 character reference letters Successful candidate will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check
