Camosun – Dunlop House Restaurant Lunch

Pacific Northwest Raptors and Lunch

Experience how Hospitality Management students run a restaurant. Dunlop House was designed by famed Victoria architect Samuel Maclure and was built in 1928 for the Dunlop family. Transportation is included. Food and beverages are extra.

Chemainus Theatre – Ring of Fire The ultimate tribute to the iconic Johnny Cash, Ring of Fire is a rockabilly story of finding love, success, faith, and redemption. From the cotton fields of Arkansas to the Grand Ole Opry, the show reveals the moments that made the “Man in Black” into a timeless musical storyteller.

Ring of Fire features more than two dozen classic hits that broke music boundaries and entertained audiences for five decades. Transportation, gratuities, tickets and buffet lunch included.

Chemainus Theatre – Harvey Elwood P. Dowd is unlike anyone you’ve ever met. He insists on introducing his friend Harvey to everyone around town – trouble is, Harvey is an invisible sixfoot-tall rabbit. Such eccentric behaviour embarrasses Elwood’s social-climbing sister, who arranges a trip to the sanitarium where an injection will “cure” him. But things get even stranger when the real patient is mistaken and the doctors begin to behave oddly. This comedy of errors will make you laugh, and wonder: does the world need another normal chap, or more Harveys?

Llama Farm Tour and Lunch Millstream Llama Farm is part of what was once a much larger farm established in the early 1900’s. The present farm sits in a hidden valley formed by limestone erosion. They are the first farm to focus on miniature llamas and we will arrive just in time to see the new baby llamas. After our farm visit we’ll lunch at a local restaurant.

Summer Camp for Adults

Reverend Moore is tormented by the dangerous consequences of rock-and-roll in his town. He has banned dancing, but his peace is short-lived. When music-anddance-loving Ren arrives from the big city, he rallies his fellow teens (including the Reverend’s daughter) against the oppressive rule, revitalizing the spirit of the repressed townspeople, and helping them heal from a tragedy that affected everyone.

Relive the high-energy and open-minded fun of this hit 1984 film in this musical at Chemainus Theatre.

Travel in a comfortable, enclosed boat from Fisherman’s Wharf out past Trial Island and through the Oak Bay area (Discovery Islands group). Continue on to Henry, Spieden, Mandarte and D’Arcy Islands.
