The first edition of this translation, dedicated to Susanna Arabella Thrale, one of the daughters of Mrs. Piozzi. Vaniere published a celebrated Latin poem in sisteen books on agriculture and the pleasures of rustic life, of which one book was devoted to the natural history and life of the bee. (1) £80-120
