763* Third Reich - SS WWII Dress-sword. A fine and rare presentation SS officer’s dress-sword by P.D. Luneschloss, Solingen, c. 1930s-1940s, having damascene single-edged decorative blade with inlaid gilt metal inscription “Meinem Treuen Kampfer - Ludwig Deutsch” and with inlaid facsimile signature inscribed “Heinrich Himmler”, with further engraved inlaid inscription verso “Meine Ehre heist Treue”, silver-plated hilt with bullion-wired grip, applied eagle & swastika in oak-leaf wreath bronze relief badge, and nickel-plated hiltguard, and having knotted bullion-wired short ribboned sash with macramé acorn finial embroidered with “SS” motif to hilt, together with original black japanned steel sheath, ornamented nickel-plated decorative mount to top, complete with leather belt-frog and steel clasp attachments, the whole encased in original soft chamois leather protective outer sheath, 36in (92cm) long (1)
