Mexico Regia et Celebris Hispaniae Novae Civitas [and] Cusco Regni Peru in Novo Orbe Caput, Cologne, [1572 or later], two uncoloured engraved city plans on one sheet (as published), 270 x 480mm, German text on verso, mounted A good dark impression of Mexico City and Cuzco. Published in ‘Civitas Orbis Terrarum’. There is a two inch ‘crack’ in the sky above Mexico city. This is a crack in the original copper plate and not damage to the engraving. (1) £400-600
