Corridor Experience

EnergyCoterra|06
With 100% private offices, the corridor experience was a critical design challenge. Asymmetry was used to create a composition with the flooring, ceiling, and light fixtures. A band of engineered wood plank flooring breaks up the corridor carpet and aligns with the depth of the glass side lites in the offices. This material change is mirrored on the ceiling with a drywall band that drops the ceiling by 4”. A linear surface mounted fixture with a depth of 4” sits flush with the gyp band.

Interconnecting stair + work lounges

EnergyCoterra|06
A monolithic metal wrapped stair connects four of the six Coterra work lounges to encourage creative collisions among the staff. The interior finish of the stair is a brushed stainless steel guardrail and handrail, while the outside finish is a bright white powder coated metal.
Spanning the five stories is a feature wall consisting of backlit, perforated metal panels by Arktura.
