BRIDGING THE GAP SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY CHELMSFORD CAMPUS MONDAY 15 APRIL 2013 9.30AM – 3.30PM
Aiming to support young people with additional needs, their parents and guardians, SENCOS and other education professionals in negotiating the transition process from school to university. The day includes a series of talks and workshops which will look at: n Reasons to go to university, and how to apply. n Applying for Disabled Student Allowance. n Study Support – an opportunity to try out assistive software, and ask questions about support available. n Practical suggestions to help prepare for independent living. n Support beyond university and employment. Visitors will also be given the opportunity to make the most of being ‘on-campus’ and will explore our University in small groups with a student ambassador. www.anglia.ac.uk
