PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Legacy Scholarships LEGACY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO PERPETUATE YOUR PERSONAL interest in an academic program or co-curricular activity while providing financially for deserving students at the University of Jamestown. A legacy scholarship is one that will become operable at a future date. University of Jamestown students meeting your selection criteria will one day be the ultimate beneficiaries of your scholarship dollars. Alumni and friends can establish a legacy scholarship by setting up a charitable gift annuity or trust fund, or by establishing a cash payment schedule which will ultimately bring the scholarship corpus to the required minimum of $10,000. Other funding options to establish legacy scholarships are: • Naming University of Jamestown as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy • Including University of Jamestown in your will or estate plan 1.
