James Ron

James Ron holds a PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley and a BA in political science from Stanford University. He taught for over 21 years in research-intensive universities, including Johns Hopkins, McGill, Carleton, and the University of Minnesota.  In addition to his work as an academic, James has worked with international organizations such as the Associated Press, CARE, Human Rights Watch, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and agencies of the Canadian and Swiss governments.
