This breath-taking countryside wedding venue is exquisite throughout the seasons. Whether you dream of a winter wedding with roaring fires and warm rich colours or a beautiful floral summer party spilling out into the gardens, Mitton Hall creates the perfect backdrop to your day. Steeped in elegance and history, this magnificent hall is big enough to feel grand but still small enough to be intimate and relaxed too. Ceremonies
You can be assured of a ceremony to remember at Mitton Hall, with a choice of 2 layouts in luxurious surroundings, you can move seamlessly from your vows to your drinks reception. With a neutral backdrop and flooded by natural light, the ceremony room can be transformed and personalised to your very own theme. Mitton Hall is fully licensed to hold your Civil Ceremony for up to 165 guests. Please contact the local Registrar on 0300 1236705 to arrange the ceremony availability, details and other legalities.

Wedding Breakfast Creating the ultimate wedding venue requires so much more than a fabulous building in a beautiful location. Experience and expertise are really what matters when it comes to the wedding breakfast and that’s why our chefs use the finest ingredients to create simply sensational dishes. Using locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables means that freshness and flavour are guaranteed. We host regular tasting events to allow you to create your own menu, or we can create a truly bespoke Wedding Breakfast paired with wines for you. Our function room allows a seating plan up to 165 guests and with a large, flexible space you can choose any layout you wish.

Evening Reception As the day becomes night, Mitton Hall takes on a whole new character and becomes the perfect party palace. A superb private bar, for you and your guests to enjoy throughout the day, is licensed until 12.30am and is guaranteed to keep the party going. Available for up to 250 guests, the conservatory and the spectacular river terrace provide all the space you could wish for, whatever the weather.

Bedrooms With 18 meticulously designed rooms, Mitton Hall is the perfect romantic getaway. From the grandeur of the four-poster bed in the King Suite to the contemporary chic of the Mitton Suite, or the rustic charm of our gamekeeper’s lodge-inspired Tudor Suite, each of our rooms are brimming with appeal. Our bedrooms are the perfect end to the perfect day!
Payments If you would like to go ahead and book Mitton Hall, we request a minimum payment of £1,000 or 25% of your wedding breakfast food price, whichever is greater. In the case of external caterers, the full kitchen hire fee is required. Nine months before the date of your wedding, 50% of the estimated wedding total is payable. The outstanding balance must be paid three months prior to the wedding date – any further items added to the invoice after the final payment must be settled one month prior to the wedding date. Children are classed as 12 and under but are not included in the minimum numbers. Please be aware that the prices are subject to any vat increases.
MINIMUM GUEST NUMBERS Depending on the time of year and day of the week there are a minimum number of day and evening guests that must be met. Please ask your wedding co-ordinator for further details
WEDDING INSURANCE Paying for your big day is a significant financial commitment. It is for this reason that we require you to have the basic wedding insurance policy in place on confirmation of your booking. Please ask your wedding co-ordinator for a copy of our guide to wedding insurance or you are welcome to source your own insurance provider.
