Keeping loyal to its industrial roots, the Cotton Room, our licensed ceremony and party room, bears all the natural textured walls, exposed beams and period character that you would expect from a building that has lasted decades.
The Bar & Grill offers a glamorous setting for your drinks reception or, if the Cotton Room’s heritage chic isn’t your style, then why not host your wedding breakfast in this spectacular space?
Weddings at Holmes Mill are relaxed and a lot of fun! With a 39-bedroom hotel, bowling alley, food hall, cinema and brewery, it’s the perfect place for a full-blown wedding weekender.
Civil Ceremonies
The Cotton Room creates the perfect industrial chic backdrop for your dream wedding day.
At Holmes Mill we are licensed to host up to 150 guests for your civil ceremony, simply contact the local Registrar to discuss your ceremony and availability.
Drinks Reception
Following your ceremony, you and your guests are invited to move through to the stunning Bar & Grill for your drinks reception. Or if the weather allows, why not enjoy drinks in the Mill Yard? Where you also have exclusive use of the alleyway.
Occupying the original Spinning Block at Holmes Mill, The Bar & Grill oozes sophistication, with Art Deco features and plenty of glamorous charm. The adjoining festoon lit alleyway makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography, with its romantic ambience and instantly recognisable surroundings.

Upon booking your wedding with us, we will reserve 20 bedrooms for you on the night of your wedding. There are 39 bedrooms throughout the whole hotel, including a family suite which is perfect for getting ready the morning of your wedding where you can stay with up to 3 others.
