5 Dinosaur Species You Should Know Before Buying Their Fossils The movie Jurassic park intrigued many people and emerged a lot of curiosity in their minds. No wonder why so many people love collecting fossils of dinosaur teeth. Whether from the movie, or from books, you must have heard of the huge Tyrannosaurus Rex, the tyrant king of lizards. But in reality, there are hundreds of dinosaur species. Let’s tell you about 5 of them. 1. Dreadnoughtus schrani This dinosaur species was first discovered in Argentina and is believed to be the largest terrestrial animal to ever walk the earth. Dreadnoughtus Schrani flourished about 100 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous epoch. It was about 85 feet long and may have weighed about 65 tons, which is more than 10 African elephants! Even though Dreadnoughtus Schrani was the largest dinosaur, it was an herbivore and its name means ‘fear nothing.’
