MASS

MASS MASS is an exhibition of works by Fine Art MA students and staff, coinciding with the annual Late Shows in Newcastle, at Breeze Creatives, complementing the other shows in Breeze Newcastle by Peter McArdle and Stu Herring.

Many of the students exhibiting completed their BAs at Sunderland and are either carrying straight on with their MAs or returning to study after working in the creative arts. The staff are all practicing artists in their own right exhibiting nationally and internationally.

MASS is on Level 1 at Bamburgh House in a space which is also used by The Cornerstone Church on Sundays, providing amongst other meanings, the inspiration for the title. The works in MASS explore the different associations with the word from the physical to the ritualistic through painting, sculpture, print and digital media.
