about about about me me me

My name is Jaime Cano Cavestany and I am graduate of the Double Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
I consider myself a curious, passionate and self-taught person. Both my time at university and the different projects in which I have participated have provided me with multiple skills such as problem solving, adaptability and the ability to work in new environments. Thanks to this I could bring diverse skills in areas of research, creativity, communication, critical thinking and teamwork as well as a proven track record in 3D and design software tools such as Adobe suite and Autodesk.
I am always willing to learning about the world of industrial, graphic and furniture desing. My goal is to grow as a professional and as a person as well as allowing me to continue to expand my knowledge and skills.
Below you can see a selection of various projects.

FUNCTIONALITY
In the case of the chair, in order to be transformed, it must be accompanied by another chair. When they are in pairs, they can be divided into three components: two stools with armrests and a stool/side table.
The chair mode is designed for tasks that require comfort and concentration, such as study or work, and the stool format is more suitable for relaxed occasions, such as leisure, where more relaxed positions are acquired.

MODULARITY

The places where these detours can be realised will be areas such as roundabouts with a system of concentric circles in which the central ones will be directed for the stacking of vehicles, thus also at standstill achieving the combination of different types of services and achieving a powerful utilisation throughout the day. This model of vehicle at height has a problem in this section, as it makes it impossible for users to climb, so a system of ascent is necessary, such as stairs that are incorporated in the upper train.
Pick up the passenger on the surface
Four columns located at the four ends of the power base, through which an intermediate platform runs, which is capable of raising and lowering the upper passenger compartment. The intermediate platform is lifted by the inclusion in the rails of the columns powered by an engine and a hydraulic compressor, which transmits a hydraulic compressor, which transmits the power by means of a power by means of a pulley and rail system.
The access and exit of the user to the service is carried out by means of a system of automated blinds. Access is through the front part of URBE and the user descends through the back part. The shutter system is automated by means of a motor which activates the raising or lowering of the blinds. These blinds are almost flat in the interior area with a 180 degree turn at the middle point, which means that half of the space is used for each blind.

Stops at heights
In order to make the most of the space provided for this type of stop for other types of vehicles will be located underneath it to facilitate the connection between arrivals and departures from the station, Thus promoting intermodal transport by means of scooters or bicycles that can be charged thanks to the installation of solar panels on the upper surface of the stop.
This will avoid the current problem of parking these vehicles all over the city, which causes a lack of control and disorganisation of public space, often hindering pedestrians and other times causing the vehicle to be left lying on the road in poor condition.
