TEXT (INTRO) In Philippine History, It’s always said that the colonizers were the bad guys, after the United States colonized us back in World War 1 or the Spanish-American War that allowed the Americans to alter everything starting from the Language, to educational system and public transportation, until the world war 2 where the Japanese invasion happened and the battle of Manila of 1945. After these colonizers used the Philippines as a battle ground, finally, in July 4, 1946, the United States declared the Philippines as an Independent Nation. But are we really independent now?
