is studio had the opportunity to explore Marfa, Texas, the location of the project site. Marfa is also home to the Judd Foundation and the Chinati Foundation. e project was informed by research on Donald Judd, as well as artists he critiqued in his writings, such as John Chamberlain. Works by Judd, Dan Flavin, and Robert Irwin are displayed in this area, enriching its cultural and artistic signi cance. e project site itself is situated in a residential neighborhood, encompassing 0.29 acres.
