They will learn about the current and emerging technologies and the issues raised by their use in a range of contexts by individuals and organisations. Students will also develop an awareness of the risks that are inherent in using ICT and the features of safe, secure and responsible practice, as well as broaden their ICT skills and capability. The more practical unit will see them learning to use a range of digital tools and techniques to produce effective ICT solutions in a range of contexts. Exams/Assessments Students will be awarded a grade from 9 to 1, with 9 being the highest and equivalent to a solid A*. Students will use a range of materials throughout the course, mainly accessible through the academy VLE. Paper Paper 1: Written paper
