Urban Designer, Geographer, aspiring Landscape Architect with 10+ years of experience. Keen on the intersections between urban green infrastructures, public space, micro-mobility, and community agriculture. Seeking to utilize my skillset to create healthy, equitable spaces for communities to grow and flourish.

Existing site use incorporated in design intent through emphasis on public space and agricultural urbanism. Mobility networks modeled by pre-war reconstruction grid structure. Block form determined by building use. Natural and manmade environments meet through micromobility and programmatic site elements.
Green infrastructure networks proposed in flood prone sites. These stormwater control measures integrate with mobility and public space networks across the downtown core. New urbanist style block form emerges from new stormwater treatment trains. On this team I was responsible for researching green infrastructure models, developing diagrams, developing maps for plan and perspective drawings, and generating the content for the copy text.
Existing conditions
Bioretention below pedestrian allée
Playscapes integrated into SCM’s
Degraded infrastructure
Drains integrated with gray infrastructure
Increased water detention
These are samples from a technical assistance for placemaking document I put together for the business owners at this site who identified security incidents in adjacent public ROW. The document was intended to guide their efforts to improve lighting, security and aesthetics in the side street between the business locations and neighborhood residents.
Neighborhoods in South Lumberton are regularly flooded due to their situation in the Tar River watershed. Flooded parcels remain vacant. This project explores how vacant lots can both mitigate flooding and provide urban amenities through activation for social use and phased development of green infrastructure stormwater control measures.
These diagrams provided graphic communication for the Corridors of Opportunity Playbook along Sugar Creek Road. This is a high-traffic, high-crime corridor, residents are seeking infrastructure investment that will increase safety, improve mobility and attract new-urbanism style of development.
As the City implemented the new unified development ordinance I provided graphic support to multiple departments overhauling their regulatory documentation for public reference. These diagrams were developed for tree protection zone guidelines.
