Sheets and Waves
Year 2 Spring 2021
ARCH 2026 Architectural Design IV
In response to the existing bike trail, the site and program are divided: the multipurpose and cafe spaces (right) and the pool, its amenities, and the lobby (left). Derived from tangents of the bike path, grids are overlayed on the site. This separation creates a complex of facilities. The forms of the cafe and bike storage awning are scaled down forms of the pool barrel vault and the orthogonal lobby. The sheet construct is present in two places: the walls of the lobby hallway leading to the locker rooms and the western facades of the cafe space, as well as, the barrel vault of the pool. The pool vault is a steel truss system wrapped in the sheet on the interior and exterior.

Year 3 Fall 2021
ARCH 3016 Architectural Design V
The site of this project is the Mar Vista Tract designed by Gregory Ain and entire neighborhood built around it. With more than 100 houses, lots were selected for the site of an apartment complex. This project interrupts the grid of the neighborhood with a series of linear bars. Instead of each bar having its own vertical circulation, this element is added in between the linear strips and made of polycarbonate for transparency and to not speak to the mass of the bars. This housing complex accomodates senior and co-living residents. Assisted living residents are located on the ground floor for ease of access.

The Coop
Year 4 Fall 2022
ARCH 4016 Comprehensive Studio
Fitting into the L-shaped site, the building is split into two linear pieces. The program of which is based on noice production: quieter, more personal spaces are located in the larger building, whereas, louder more interactive spaces are located in the other. Entry occurs at two main points at the alley way and the front of the large building. The alley way is brought into the building by the extension of a polycarbonate roof over where they intersect. The main building cantilevers as the site dips and a more wooded area emerges. The occupant is brought amongst the trees.

Klondike Park
Year 4 Summer 2023
Internship
This project is apart of the concept development of a community park in a neighborhood in Memphis, TN, meant to serve the surrounding area. The images depicted showcase the final phase of the park. The project was completed by a team of interns over the course of a summer. The park is divided into three zones allowing for different types of activities to take place: meadow, riparian, and arboretum. My contribution to the project was the development of the perspectives utilizing a heavy amount of photoshop generative fill and a.i. tools.

Sticking Out
Year 5 Fall 2023
ARCH 5016 Architectural Design IX
“Sticking out” gets its name from the extru sion of Luigi Tosti extending over the street Via Cesare Baronio. It sticks out. The building itself is pushed back from the streetscape. This gesture is done in an effort to draw at tention and pull one to the building as they approach the site. The existing street is ed ited to add to this effect. What was a set of one way streets divided by a median was turned into a snaking single set of one way roads.
