Students have the opportunity to pursue advanced coursework and credits through these programs.

EJHS RISE STEM Program: The RISE (Research, Innovation, Science, and Engineering) program at EJHS offers students the opportunity to engage in advanced, STEM-centered, project-based learning, fostering guidelines for the college or university they attend.

Dual Enrollment (D

enduring and impactful educational experiences. This program integrates traditional academic courses with the CTAE pathway: Engineering & Technology.

Students can earn college credits by passing these classes, and state funding is provided to assist with tuition and mandatory fees.

International Baccalaureate (IB): JCHS offers both standalone IB courses and the internationally-recognized IB Diploma Program. In both cases, IB courses offer exams for college credit based on students’ performance and the credit guidelines for the college or university they attend.

Empower College & Career Center: Empower is an educational partnership with businesses in Jackson County and the surrounding area.

The Empower Center engages students in project-based learning and hands-on, career relevant learning experiences. Through partnerships with business and industry, higher education and our community, students work toward goals that help them reach their college and career objectives. Some of these goals include completing pathways and earning credentials.
