ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Nomad Developments is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper and Accounts Assistant.
Nomad Developments, a high-end luxury housebuilder operating in London and the Home Counties, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bookkeeper and Accounts Assistant.
Nomad Developments have undergone significant growth over the past few years and are now about to embark on future growth that requires the assistance of an experienced accounts personnel. This role is perfect for someone who has great experience in accounts management and would thrive in the opportunity to take ownership of their role within the accounts team.
Hours: Part-time, three days per week (potential of being full time in the future).
Key Responsibilites
Account Management:
• Oversee and manage the accounts inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision.
• Enter financial data into our Construction Management Software for efficient invoice processing.
• Reconcile accounts using Xero, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Handle employee expense claims, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Assist the accountant with various administrative duties and in preparing yearly accounts.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of bookkeeping and accounts.
• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software, including our Construction Management Software.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Preffered:
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
• Familiarity with VAT and CIS requirements (training will be provided if necessary).
• Experience with Xero is a plus but not mandatory.
Software Skills:
• Confident on PC computers
• Confident on Microsoft Office and Excel
• Experience using Xero
