J1-LED is an Australian-owned market leader in LED Signage, Intelligent Transport Systems and Traffic Products. As an LED technology specialist with internal testing laboratories, we engineer our products right down to the component selection to ensure robust, long-life, low-maintenance investments for our clients, all backed by ongoing project and service support.

HISTORY

Founded in 1998 in response to a need for innovative, high-quality, specialised LED systems and solutions, J1-LED quickly expanded into Traffic, Transport and Infrastructure signage. By 2010 we had become a preferred ITS supplier across four states.

This focus on innovation - driven by design, engineering and manufacturing expertise, has seen the business launch numerous custom products, all subject to our stringent, end-to-end research and development processes.

Intelligent Transport Systems

Design, Manufacture, Installation & Service, J1-LED are recognised as leaders in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector. Having operated since 1998 within this competitive, innovative market, we have now delivered on projects such as the Legacy Way Tunnel & Gateway Motorway i n Brisbane, Northlink WA, M5 West Widening in Sydney, the Adelaide Superway and School Zone Signs rollouts.

Our end-to-end approach to ITS project management, from concept to installation and servicing, ensures that our products are tailored to client needs, providing high-quality hardware and expert technical advice to both international and domestic customers.

ITS HOST

ITS HOST is J1-LED’s proprietary, browser-based Remote Management System for the remote operation of J1-LED Products. The system allows for remote monitoring & control of sign & vehicle devices. and provides a cloud-based portal that is easy to use, installation free and is user-location independent.

Our expertise in engineering and fabrication makes J1-LED the right choice for all your safety vehicle and fleet fit-out needs. We custom design and build trays, high-strength headboards, as well as tray fixtures such as cages, lock boxes, turnstiles, frames and ladders.

Operation of the lights and signage is easy, thanks to the innovative ACS (Autonomous Control System) touch-screen LCD interface, which is seamlessly mounted into the dashboard of the vehicle.

Working closely with our traffic customers, we understand their need for flexible fleet solutions. We designed our products to be modular, allowing for rapid installation and removal, so you can ‘reclaim the tray’ when a VMS ute is not required.

Traffic & Portable

Our range of Portable LED Systems & Signs is designed and manufactured in-house and may be customised and installed on our innovative trailer platform. Some of our most popular portable solutions are Variable Message Signs (VMS) Trailers & Vehicles, Portable Traffic Lights (PTL), Arrow Boards (AB), Portable Variable Speed Limit Signs (VSLS/LUMS) and Speed Advisory Signs (SAS).

Our lightweight Vehicle Activate Signs (VAS) are triggered by vehicle detection at up to 600m to improve driver hazard recognition and increase response time.

Focused on safety in design through to manufacture, J1-LED products offer low-risk deployment systems and high visibility & alert systems for operators.

Our service and maintenance team ensure your J1 products are operating safely and at optimum capacity to ensure a long product life cycle. J1’s in-house safety management and employee safe work systems have been continuously developed and tested over 25 years of operation. Innovation and best practices are hallmarks of our end-to-end production system.

Working closely with local road authorities and fleet managers, our Engineering team provides customised, seamless integration with transport networks and site safety systems. Minimising the need for on-site operators, our products are securely cloud-hosted, with health, battery & system checks also remotely available.
