J.J. Murphy City Manager

J.J. Murphy, City Manager for Hobbs, New Mexico, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1998. Since then he has earned the Credentialed Manager distinction in the International City and County Management Association, and serves as a board member of the New Mexico Municipal Managers Association.
