The Narrative Environment - Sheriff Bob East is at the yearly rodeo show that comes to town, people from all over the west come for the annual festivities

Annual rodeo arrives at Amityville for their yearly celebration.

We see some young cowboys running around the perimeter of the town. A kid playing with a gun, a lot of dancing and drinking.

Racing around the town was very common for

cowboys to speed around a location to showcase their skills.

Kids learned how

to use a gun at an

early age.

Note the Rodeo is the main attraction in the town. The tiger roams in the outer perimeter of the town.

In this small town the

rodeo is the main attraction

of the town surrounded by saloons and places to eat

this is the Super Bowl of rodeos in the 1870’s.

Everyone the comes to the town

and do not have money to stay

at your local hotel they all camp

out with the beautiful view of the hills. The brought their wagons ďŹ lled with supplies for weeks and for the journey home.

The views from the hill is pretty

amazing for the tourist who are camping around the city. This

was very normal for a family to enjoy the festivities of a town.

The s e

families

tra v e l e d

thousands of miles just to come the festivities in Amityville. We see about three generations of

cowboys who come to participate in this week long event.

As you are entering the town we

can see many structures like

restaurant, banks, saloons and other stores. This showcases how

busy this town gets and how

much money they receive from the people in town.

The outďŹ t of the era is very important to depict the

cowboys of the era and also gives us an insight of the what was the style. From a hat, bandana, gun

holster, and in some cases fur pants. The women also had to wear a similar attire but had a skirt instead on pants. Everyone had cowboy boots that at that time were hand made.

The saloon was the place for drinking and it is very important to showcase

the barrels that housed the alcohol. We can see that the attire is a bit

different from what the cowboys

wear.

From the windows of the saloon you can see a hotel

that is very small and will

not be able to accommodate such large crowds from the rodeo that is why people camp out.

A view from the back shows us how small

everything really is. The saloon on the left followed by a restaurant and meat market. These structures were made by wood and in some cases the side of a living room.

Around the town in back of the buildings we see the ďŹ elds with the dry grass

grown which is a perfect hide away for the tiger.

In order to kill the tiger the choice of weapons

are a lasso

and revolvers as well as a rie as it was depicted earlier.

Final scene. This will be the main stage where

the sheri will battle the tiger.

Suddenly in front of everyone, the tiger attacks a young cowboy who was coming from the hills, and everyone goes into chaos running inside the main buildings. After everyone clears the town a senior cowboy starts calling for his son Jeb.
