Why involving Youth Important? The number of youth between the ages of 15 and 24 is 1.1 billion; youth constitute 18 percent of the global population. Youth and children together, including all those aged 24 years and younger, account for nearly 40 percent of the world's population.
1. We inherit this very earth. We deserve to determine its very faith. 2. We comprise of 18% of the global population or equals 1.1 billion. We deserve to have a say on our own future. 3. To act as an active agent of change, youth involvement of the agenda planning us nonnegotiable. 4. To ensure youth participation in determining their own faith and to raise awareness on current most pressing global challenges.
