Phoenix from the flames: pet centre will rise again Charlie Moore, aged 3.

Island ready for a special weekend Charlie Moore and his mum, 22-year-old Chloe Wallace, from Newport, were sporting their poppies after contributing to the Royal British Legion appeal in Morrisons. “He has been desperate for me to buy him a poppy,” said Chloe. “And it’s for such a good cause.” The IW Observer today features some of the best of the preparations to mark the centennary of the 1918 Armistice which got underway in the days before Sunday’s official commemoration.
