A fresh fare fork stop, Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill, is opening its doors on May 1. This historic Palm Valley spot since 1946 has given its fishing and food concept a fabulous facelift. And no fancy, schmancy pretenses here you can get a gorgeous gourmet bite (and brew) in flip flops! Located under the 210 Bridge, PVOBG has the unassuming façade of a bait and tackle store – but step to the back of the building and experience some amazing eats from one incredible kitchen brigade! Chef prepared dishes drizzled with tarragon cream sauces, risotto made with real Monchego cheese, and deliciously detailed side dishes made with house spices make this new spot completely spoonable in my book!

For an additional treat, get there at dusk for one spectacular sunset water view.

Give PVOBG some leeway for potential growing pains on their first day out as I feel they will be inundated with cuisine-curious customers.
