On Saturday, April 26, Morven — a magnificent 19th-century Albemarle estate built in the late-Georgian and Federal style that is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register — will open its doors for one day only. A part of the Historic Garden Week since it began over 80 years ago in 1929, both the house and gardens in all their spring glory will be open for tours.
