About myself
I believe architecture isn’t about solving buildings and spaces but rather about people instead. I therefore believe that good design should inspire people while being considerate of the same people using it, its location, and its impact on the world I have a particular liking for sustainable designs that are deeply rooted in the context of the place they are located.
When not designing, I am either painting, writing, sketching, or exploring new artistic ideas. I have always been an artist at heart and love to try out new artistic endeavors. This has somehow sipped into my design philosophies as well by affecting the way I look at design –both as a science as an art In this, architecture has taught me to be gentler with the world and more considerate when designing for people and solving problems.

EMU Architecture Faculty Redesign & Techno Park
This project aims at challenging the existing fabric of architectural learning and teaching at the East Mediterranean University in Cyprus. The task involved a redesign of the existing faculty landscape in order to create more usable spaces that accommodate for disabled people as well. The landscape aims at unifying the existing buildings in the EMU faculty to create more unity and connection between the existing buildings.
Furthermore, the design also features the proposal of a new techno park building to accommodate for the growing staff, and new technological advancements in the new techno labs that students may use to test different materiality, sustainable technologies, cultural studies, virtual reality design, and computer labs. The techno park studio is also integrated with the landscape and forms a public use space in order to bridge the 2 different sides of the faculty and create more connection between indoor and outdoor space.

The People’s place
Bsc Arch - Undergrad graduation project
The project takes on a comic book format to tell a story of a migrant coming into a city seeking a better life but faces the opposite reality. It holds similar realities to the current state of migrants living within Pretoria CBD on the street it is located (ie Esselen street, Pretoria) and is filled with migrants from different cultures that are now within the struggling social economical class in one of South Africa’s capitals
Through rethinking what embassies should do, the idea of a consulate matrix system for migrants is developed throughout South African cities that would provide ready and available services to newly arriving and struggling migrant communities

Famagusta Recreational Center
MArch - Master’s sem 1 design project
In this project, the task involved designing a recreational center to support a new proposed municipality building for Famagusta Cyprus. The aim of this is to promote the current tourism industry that is becoming a big source of income for the government.
The new recreational center features art studios that can be rented out, 3D design studios, a café, a mini golf area, zoo, bird watching tower, biking grounds, and meditation areas for both public, and private, as well as indoor and outdoor meditation. An important consideration for this was the fact that the proposal is located that is considered “highly sensitive and protected” due to the plant species all found on site. The design seeks to connect people to nature by carefully considering the existing trees and native species, and designing around them so none of them are affected.

Maranatha Hospital (LocalWorks concept)
Having outgrown its existing rented facilities, Maranatha aspired to develop its own purpose-built infrastructure which would provide space for an 80-bed hospital with outpatient departments, a pediatric ward, maternity ward, operating theatres and all associated facilities and infrastructure Key design parameters were a holistic environment with sustainable landscape design that is interwoven with the architecture; and a particular focus on the needs of children. Above all, the brief is to develop a functional and affordable design that can grow over time given a limited budget.
A sustainable design approach is considered and hence buildings are oriented according to the direction of the slope contours. This offers opportunity to accessibility and views to the courtyard that extend all the way to the Rwenzori mountain rangers.

Residential Design Concept
Personal concept
This residential design concept is a proposal for a retirement home for a client that will stay near Lake Victoria. Due to its location and client personality, openness and connection to nature were the main emphases of the design
The design of the residence is divided into 2 sides to bring nature into the building while maintaining private and public spaces within. The living room and dinning areas, which as the main gathering or public spaces, are used to create this division, while seamlessly opening the house to the outside and bringing nature indoors. The bedrooms also feature large day beds instead of windows to provide resting spaces during the day that simultaneously bring in natural light while being used as resting spaces during the day.
