BRIEF DEFINITION

Airbond seeks to develop splicers for a textile and composite industry through additive manufacturing, merging with HP 3D Jet, used in the rapid manufacture of prototypes and the manufacture of final products. The process consists of directing or even an alteration compartment (chamber) to tangle like fibres without breaking them. It is intended to create a union of strong threads, without knots, with a clean finish, disassembled in the production of mesh/fabric

An exclusive splicer for joining traditional textile yarns and composite ﬁbres, in processes to which it is impossible to tie through the air directing process. This is the ﬁrst to use only compressed air.
