Tests and data collection:
Selection of the targeted capsule;
Tests of mushrooms growing in the capsules;
Deeper analysis of the materials in the Dolce Gusto capsule;
Manufacture the PP lament by reprocessing the capsule body and lter.3D printing using the produced lament as the manufacturing process of the mushroom kit;
It was decided to rst intervene in directly reusing the co ee capsule, from which ideas were generated and selected according to their degree of circularity. This exploration led to the mushroom cultivation kit, a relevant service after several uses. It allows the user to grow mushrooms by dismantling the co ee capsule. Once the amount of mushrooms has been used up, the user can continue to give life to the materials in the capsule, separating them correctly with the dismantling accessory.
Loon was created by a team of 4 young designers to respond to a project the college promoted to launch them into the market.
Loon is a photoluminescent product that emits light in the dark over an extended period. It is an easy-use product and adaptable to several switches. In addition, it is also de ned as a headlamp framed for the target user, families and children. There are di erent playful models to choose from.

LEVIUS arises from the desire to change the paradigm of showers. The initial brief of a hidden and invisible tap leads to the concept of the "shape of water", an human-centric design focused on the water's properties.

ESTABLISHING EMPATHY WITH THE USER
This product results in a sensory experience. It takes the user to the water in the purest sense of nature.
The water is conducted through the pipe into a small tank. When the tank overflows, this shapes the water curtain.
The water gradually passes between the holes forming di erent water thicknesses.
The water goes centrally from the ceiling shower head. The water comes out more directly and with more intensity.
LEVIUS o er a unique experience, with a choice of water shapes, di erent flow and intensities from the handles. These handles allow combinations of materials and various finishes to be seamlessly embedded in any bathroom.

WRAPPER SPLICER SNAPPING TURTLE
THE QUEEN’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE 2019
Airbond seeks to develop textile and composite industry splicers through additive manufacturing. Using an HP 3D Jet fusion printer opens a new range of possibilities to rapidly manufacture prototypes and small series of finalised products. The Splicer tool process involves directing the compartment (chamber) to tangle like fibres without breaking them. It is intended to create a union of solid threads, without knots, with a clean finish, disassembled in the production of mesh/fabric.
An exclusive splicer for joining traditional textile yarns and composite fibres in which it is impossible to tie through the air-directing process. This wrapper is the first one using only compressed air (patent pending).
Materials PA 12, steel and brass
Dimensions 100 mm x 60 mm x 32 mm
155 mm x 60 mm x 32 mm
Within the same product line, It was developed pneumatic scissors, which allow the cutting of the most resistant fibres and textiles. The air that flows between the valves from side to side creates a constant movement of the blades. Ergonomic aspects were considered when designing the wrist. A cover was designed to protect the cutting area.
