Climate adaptation and vulnerability analyses Climate change is already forcing us to adapt society in order to cope with extreme weather events, such as torrential rain, landslides, heatwaves and the risk of fire. The extent of the impact of climate change will be dependent on the extent of the changes in the climate, but also on society’s ability to adapt to these changes.
