Steering Column Module (SCM) Rivian, USA, 2022-2025 ▪ Developed Steering Column Module (SCM) for different EV platforms. ▪ Led the following activities: plastic components design, DFM review with suppliers, prototype builds, internal design reviews, tests results review. ▪ Provided mechanical solutions for stalks kinematic and buttons haptic. ▪ Defined stalks activation forces and angles, performed components tolerance stuck up, prepared drawings according GD&T standards. ▪ Presented progress of mechanical engineering work to the customer during weekly meetings.
Electronic Control Unit (ECU), ADAS DAT 2.0 Ford Motor Company, USA, 2017-2019 ▪ Developed ADAS DAT 2.0 ECU (level 2-3 of Automation) for different Ford car platforms. ▪ Designed ECU housing and electrical interfaces ▪ Provided solutions for thermal management and orientation/location in the vehicles. ▪ Determined product critical characteristics, performed tolerance stuck up analysis of components, supported manufacturing builds. ▪ Actively worked with customer, suppliers, validation and electrical departments.
Short-Range Radar Renault-Nissan, France-Japan, 2017-2018 ▪ Designed and developed 5th generation of short-range radar for SUV platforms. ▪ Designed plastic housing according customer requirements, reviewed DFM with suppliers. ▪ Developed, in cooperation with electrical engineers, circuit board to full fill EMC standards and requirements. ▪ Defined product critical characteristics, supported manufacturing during the first prototype builds. ▪ Reviewed DV and PV tests results, provided required modifications to the product.
Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) “Kryukov Railway Car Building Works” PJSC, Ukraine, 2010-2013 ▪ Developed layout documentation of EMU’s head car. ▪ Performed mass calculations of the main equipment. ▪ Design air-cooling system for traction drivers. ▪ Integrated HVAC and high-voltage equipment. ▪ Supported manufacturing plant during construction of head car cabin and crash system.
Modernization of DMU train AS “Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnīca” (RVR), Latvia, 2014-2015 ▪ Designed air inlets for diesel engine as well as exhaust system. ▪ Designed and upgrade water cooling circuit. ▪ Supervised train build on customer plant. ▪ Estimated costs of new components for machine room. ▪ Cooperated with customer, suppliers, FEA-department.
