STUDENT EVENT SERIES 2022/23GoBold

The Girls’ Schools Association has always placed girls at the centre of everything it does; we empower girls to expect to be listened to, be leaders, and to be confident to choose the lives they want to live.

could there be for our future changemakers, and to help every GSA girl to feel welcomed in?

GSA’s new student event series

Go Bold has been created to honour and celebrate the brilliant talents and potential of our young women. Our programme is designed to spark courage, curiosity, delight, and self-belief in every GSA girl beyond the classroom.

The programme includes the absolute best of sports, photography, literature, finance and economics, music and science brought to life in real life, hybrid, and online events, so everyone can get involved nationally, and internationally.

Every GSA pupil will have the chance to experience vibrant conventions, expos, festivals, performances and more in an unmissable programme led by innovative experts and creators. There’s no limit to what young women can achieve, and GSA events are designed to celebrate their full power and talents, while bringing them together to meet and make new friends.

In its inaugural year GSA will fund the whole programme making it entirely free for every GSA student. What better gift

A buildable and growing programme, highlights include Go Girls’ Football Festival with the Independent Schools Football Association; Choir of The Year, Pioneers of Science, the GAIN Investment Challenge plus GSA’s established well-loved and respected annual events such as Girls Go Gold, GSA Netball & Masterclasses, and its Annual Creative Writing Competition.

Each one an unforgettable experience to suit every girl’s interest.

Teams will research all aspects of their company to make the investment case. The final investment pitch will be a persuasive 3-minute-long video presentation showcasing their findings.

creative writing award

Women writers have always illuminated their experiences through writing: travelogues, diaries, memoirs, and poetry. Our annual award honours this tradition by giving voice to girls so we can continue to see life clearly through their own eyes. For pupils who are a wonder at wordsmithing, snappy with a sonnet or flash with flash fiction. GSA celebrates every winner on its website, social media channels, and broadcasts them to more than 100 GSA Headteachers during our GSA Summer Briefing in summer term.
