Molo crude is a blend derived from multiple sources, including production by the Land, O shore, and Business Development Business Units, as well as third-party purchases. The crude is gathered by the Midstream Business Unit and transported to the export terminal at Paria, where it is sold on the international market. The Commercial Department, through its market savvy and development of strategic customer relationships, plays an essential role in ensuring the sales.
Capitalising on favourable market conditions, crude is often sold on the spot market, primarily to end users or refiners. The Commercial Department strives to sell nearly 100% of the production volumes available at the terminal, ensuring maximum e ciency and profitability for Heritage

Vincent Heeralal, is a Discipline Mechanical Engineer within the Engineering BU. His job focuses on maintaining the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the company’s onshore pipeline network. Safety and e ciency are at the core of what he does.
Vincent’s role at Heritage is one that requires both technical expertise and a strong focus on long-term operational integrity. As a Discipline Mechanical Engineer, he is actively involved in the development and implementation of the company’s risk-based inspection (RBI) and pipeline integrity programmes, which involve assessing the fitness of pipelines for continued service and identifying potential threats that could impact the network. His work is essential in ensuring that the infrastructure remains safe, e cient, and sustainable for years to come.
One of the most rewarding aspects of his role at Heritage is knowing that his e orts are directly contributing to the economic growth of Trinidad and Tobago: “It’s extremely fulfilling to tackle challenging engineering problems alongside a dedicated team, and to see how our collaborative solutions help strengthen both our company and the country we serve.” This sense of purpose and contribution to national growth are a driving force in his daily work and professional development.
In the world of engineering, the drive for excellence often stems from a deep sense of responsibility, not just for the job at hand but also for the people and systems that rely on it.
The three words that describe Vincent – and his approach to life and work – are adventurous, helpful, and resourceful. These values resonate deeply with him, and define the way he approaches both his career and his personal life.
Outside of his engineering responsibilities, Vincent enjoys fishing – an activity that allows him to disconnect and find peace. It’s much more than a pastime for Vincent; it’s a way for him to have fun, unwind, and enjoy the fruits of his labour Whether he’s out on the water seeking the perfect catch or preparing a fresh meal for his family, fishing provides him with a sense of calm that balances the complexities of his work.
Family, naturally, plays an important role in Vincent’s life. “Nothing has felt more fulfilling,” he shares, “than reaching a level of financial independence that allows me to treat my Mom and spoil my nieces.” It is a milestone that is a testament not only to his generosity, but also to his hard work and dedication – the values that drive him both personally and professionally
