Our Community Impact Theme for the upcoming July|August|September 2020 issues of IHBM-ND is to recognize and celebrate our EVERYDAY HEROES, the true sacrifices that many of them have had to make, and/or the unique contributions that they’ve made to our communities during this time. From first responders and healthcare workers, to bus drivers, delivery drivers, janitors, restaurant workers, employees who work for grocery stores and other essential businesses, volunteers, business owners, working moms who became caregivers and educators overnight, teachers, and even our students, we want to recognize and celebrate those who are contributing their gifts and passions to serve the needs of their families and communities, while we create conversation and understanding around the many varying levels of impact that have been felt by our families and community members due to COVID-19.
