Alternatively head to the North Bay where the vivid colours of the beach huts nestle above the sandy beach and you can play in the rockpools to your hearts content when the tide is out. Catch the North Bay Railway from Peasholm Park Station to the SEA LIFE Centre which swoops past Europe's largest Open Air Theatre where you can catch many of the big acts over the summer!

Loved equally by children and grown-ups, our comfy timber pods are an exciting way to camp.

4 and 5 berth pods available

Our pods provide spacious and secure accommodation for up to five people. The pod is similar to camping without the hassle of a tent.

All pods have beds, an electric heater (electricity included), light, double plug socket, opening window, kettle and microwave, plus the extra security of a lockable door.

Visit Scarborough Castle The ancient castle stands proud over Scarborough and is packed full of historical tales dating all the way back to when it was first inhabited over 3,000 years ago.

Fun in Dalby Forest

Great for mountain bike riders, walkers or those wanting to get their heart rates pumping at Go Ape! There is so much to see and do in Dalby Forest which is only a short drive from the park.

Explore Peasholm Park

Whether you want pedal power or rowing power, you can meander around Peasholm Park for a relaxing half day out. Be sure to catch the Naval Warfare during the peak season and explore the hidden Chinese Garden on the island in the middle!

Have a day out at the beach

You have to visit the beach when you are staying in Scarborough! Build a sandcastle, take a donkey ride, paddle in the sea, grab some fish and chips, go rock pooling or take a speedboat ride, there is so much to do!

Feed the animals at Playdale Farm

Great for kids, this petting farm is near the park and lots of fun. Feed the animals and let off steam in the play barn. There is also a host of outdoor fun too!

Goosewood There are two options at Goosewood Holiday Park; self-catering accommodation or touring pitches.

Hire a fully equipped lodge with hot tub and veranda (Willows Lodge) or stay in a holiday home (Elms Holiday Home) which provides a superb base for your adventures. If you have your own touring caravan or motorhome, then come along and enjoy the park from the comfort of your own space.

Touring Caravans & Motorhomes

Our touring pitches are in a peaceful setting and include toilet and shower facilities. Prices quoted are for one touring caravan or motorhome, up to four people and one car for one night.

Creepy Crawlies at Web Adventure Popular with our regular visitors, this is an indoor, outdoor and water play park. There is also an animal zone where children can learn about the animals and see them being fed!

Explore the historic house of Castle Howard Located a short drive from Goosewood is the magnificent Castle Howard. The Grade I listed building is a great day out where you can look around the house and grounds which has also been a film setting over the years.
