WhoisAamirFreelancer?

Aamir Shehzad, whom the world today knows as Aamir Freelancer, was once an ordinary boy. His early education began at FG School, and later atTameer-e-Nau Public School, Quetta It was in the eighth grade Aamir Shehzad first discovered that we can earn money from websites through Adsense monetization.

LackofInstitutionsinQuetta

Due to his young ageand the lack of reputable institutions in Quetta, Aamir was neither aware of blogwriting, nor did he know about SEO, nor did he understand how websites were created. He also faced numerous challenges during that time.

They say that when your intentions are strong and Allah is with you, you attain your goals. If you remain steadfast and keep your focus on your destination, you will inevitably reach it.

Similarly, Aamir also had a passion for learning digital skills—freelancing, blogging, video editing, graphic design, SEO, and every other skill in this field. He kept striving for them, and ultimately, Allah blessed himwith success. Today, he is earning money successfully through freelancing, training, YouTube, and Facebook.

AamirStudy&Passion

If I talk about education, my parents wanted to study science subjects and become a doctor in the future. However, Aamir himself was adamant: he insisted on pursuing IT or becoming a professional cricketer. This conflict persisted for a considerable period, and from 2007 to 2011, Aamir did not earn even a single rupee from the online marketplace.

ChallengesinOnlineBusiness

During this phase, Aamir not only faced scolding from his parents but also endured taunts from friends. Many mocked him, saying, "You’ll earn dollars?"

Let me add one thing here: whatever parents say, they say it for your benefit. Even their scolding is for your own good. My purpose in mentioning this is not at all to imply thatif my parents scolded me, they didn’t wish well for me or that they were

unfair. On the contrary, I would say that my parents are the best in the world. It is because of their hard work, their prayers, and their guidance especially my father’s—that I am a freelancer today or have reached this position.

I also hope that as you grow older, you will serve your parents wholeheartedly and honor them with all your heart.

Additionally, in school or college, apart from pocket money, I didn’t have enough funds to buy a domain, purchase hosting, or hire a good developer to build a website.

However, I kept learning all the skillsmyself I even taughtmyself web development and SEO.

With minimal investment, I started my ownbusiness. The purpose of sharing this is simply to emphasize that the excuses we often make like 'I don’t have money,' 'my parents are poor,' 'I can’t achieve anything in life,' or 'I lack resources' are nothing but doubts and mental barriers.

Learn to take the firststep. Insha’Allah, Allah will begin paving paths for you. And nowadays, especiallyin this advanced era of 2025, the world is full of learning opportunities. YouTube is overflowing with content, you can find excellent mentors, and there are reputable institutes where you can learn these skills.Within 6 to 7 months or a year, you can build a valuable asset for yourself.

FirstEarning

Yet, Aamir pushed allthese distractions aside, continued working hard, and kept learning. In 2011, he earned his first $100. After a $15 tax deduction; he received an $85 check from Google AdSense.

LackofPaymentsMethodsinPakistan

Here, a notable detail is that Aamir was under 18 years old at the time, so he couldn’t create an AdSense account in his own name. The account was registered under his uncle’s name, and the first check he received was also issued in his uncle’s name.

Additionally, due to the lack of payment methods in Pakistan and banking awareness, no bank agreed to cash the cheque

Although the chequecouldn’t be cashed, its arrival significantly boosted Aamir’s motivation to pursueonline business. A fewmonths later, with theintroduction of Payoneer Payment Methods in Pakistan and the availability of WesternUnion, payments started flowing in.

After that, Alhamdulillah, the stream of income never ceased. The journey that began with blogging expanded into YouTube,DigitalMarketing,ContentWriting, FilmMaking,Graphics, socialmediainfluencing, freelancetraining, and motivationalspeaking. Aamir went on to inspire and empower children and youth across Pakistan and Balochistan.

TotalEarnings

By the grace of Allah (Alhamdulillah), Aamir Freelancer has now earned over $100,000 through freelancing. Additionally, he has generated approximately 15,000 to $20,000 from blogging and YouTube.

And Insha’Allah, this journey will continue to thrive, as it is not onlyabout Aamir’s personal growth but also about empowering Pakistan’s youth, particularly those in Balochistan (Trained5000+ Students in Different Skills). With the same passion and dedication, Aamir Freelancer aims to guide young people toward skill development and craftsmanship. This way, they can polish their talents alongside their degrees and secure a sustainable livelihood—not just for themselves but for their families as well.

When discussing Aamir’s students’ successstories, they have collectively earned over $300,000 so far. These students belong from various cities across Pakistan, with a significant number from Balochistan.

IntroductionofFreelancing

The practice of selling your skills online or offline is called freelancing, and those who engage in freelancing are referred to as freelancers. Freelancing involves offering your computer-based skills on various online freelance marketplaces,

Such as graphic design, web development, programming, digitalmarketing, content writing, audio/musicproduction, AI services, and many other services that people provide through freelance platforms.

FreelancingHistory

Freelancing traces its roots to medieval mercenaries known as "free lances" (independentsoldiers not tied to a single lord).

The term was popularized by Sir Walter Scott in his 1819 novel Ivanhoe. However, modern freelancing evolved with the rise ofspecialized professions in the 19th and 20th centuries, as writers, artists, and consultants began offering services independently.

The digital revolutionof the late 20th and 21st centuries transformed freelancing into a global phenomenon, enabled by the internet and platforms like Upwork and Fiverr. While no single "inventor" exists, Scott’s literary reference marks the term’s origin, and technological advancements catalyzed its current form.

WhyFreelancingisImportantforPakistan?

Freelancing has become a vital pillar of Pakistan’s economy. Every year, Pakistani freelancers earn over $2billion, injecting these dollars into local services, goods, and infrastructure. This influx strengthens the national economy, stabilizes foreign exchange reserves, and boosts employment opportunities.

With the Pakistani rupee facing depreciation, the dollars earned through freelancing not only improve thecountry’s economic resilience butalso elevate the financial standing of individualfreelancers. Many freelancers generate substantial income in short timeframes, leveraging global demand for skills like IT, digital marketing, and content creation.

Over the past year alone, this industry has created nearly 100,000jobs, and its rapid growth shows no signs of slowing. Freelancing empowers Pakistanis to bypass traditional job market limitations, fosters entrepreneurship, and contributes to a thriving digital ecosystem. As more talent enters this sector, freelancing continues to drive economic progress and financial independence for individuals and the nation alike.

BenefitsofFreelancing

1. Flexibility&Work-LifeBalance: Freelancers enjoy the freedom to choose their working hours, locations, and projects, allowing them to balance personal and professional life effectively.

2. Autonomy&Control: Freelancers have fullcontrol over their workload, clients, and career direction, avoiding the restrictions of traditional 9-to-5 jobs.

3. UnlimitedIncomePotential: Earnings depend on skills, effort, and client demand. Freelancers can scale income by taking on multiple projects or raising rates as expertise grows.

4 GlobalOpportunities: Access to clients worldwide expands earning potential and exposure to diverse industries and cultures.

5. SkillDevelopment: Working on varied projects sharpens technical, communication, and time-management skills, fostering continuous growth.

6. EntrepreneurialGrowth: Freelancers build their personal brand, network, and business acumen, which can evolve into a full-fledged agency or startup.

7 CostEfficiency: Saveon commuting, officeexpenses, and formal attire while enjoying tax deductions for home office setups and business-related costs.

8. DiverseCareerPaths: Freelancers can explore multiple niches or industries without being tied toa single employer.

9. QuickAdaptationtoMarketTrends: Freelancers often stay ahead by learning in-demand skills (e.g., AI, digital marketing)to meet evolving client needs.

10 EconomicContribution: By earning foreign currency (e.g., USD, EUR), freelancers strengthen their national economy, especially in countries with weaker currencies.

Freelancing empowers individuals to turn skills into income, fosters independence, and adapts to the fast-changing digital economy, making it a rewarding career choice for millions worldwide.

WhatisNiche?

A niche is a specific segment of any product or service. When you operate within a niche, you have a clear understanding of who your customers are and what is your target market?

A niche helps businesses focus their efforts and resources on a specific group of customers, making it easier to meet their needs and succeed in the market.

For example, if you are a graphic designer and you offer poster designing services on Fiverr, poster designing as a whole will be a difficult niche to target. However, if you break it down into smaller segments and create gigs based on specific keywords, this will be called a micro-niche.

Keywords:PosterDesign,MoviePoster,PartyPoster,EventPosteretc.

TypesofNiche

Niches are divided into two categories:

One is a microniche and the other is a macroniche. Amicro niche targets very specific Audience and a particular market, while a macro niche targets a larger market and faces more competition compared to a micro niche. Micro niches always have less competition and grow faster.

This simply proves that if you want your freelancing career to grow quickly, you must choose a microniche. If you want to avoid competition, reach the rightcustomers, or make them recognize you, focus on microkeywords. This will lead to faster success; otherwise, you’ll have to wait a very long time to getyourfirst order.

FiverrGigComponents

Gig Components are typically consists of a title, description, tags, extras, image(s), and a pricing table.

the service includes and be compelling enough for potential clients to understand if it meets their needs.

Additionally, you canadd 3 images to your Fiverr gig by default. When you deliver an order and attach a file, those files become your extra portfolio images.

Image Size: 1280 by 769

For example, if you have included only 5 revisions in your basic package, and they request a 6th or 7th revision, then you can charge them extra for those additional revisions.

We can use up to 5 tags, and these tags should be similar to your target keywords. Try to keep them to no more than two words each, or even better, use single-word tags.

PaymentsMethodsinPakistan

In Pakistan, there's only one way to withdraw money from Fiverr, and that's through Payoneer. From Payoneer, you can transfer funds to any local bank in Pakistan or via Jazz Cash. I recommend Jazz Cash because it offers a better dollar exchange rate compared to other banks, and setting up a Jazz Cash account is also easier. You can create an account from the comfort of your home using the JazzCash app.

For every transaction,$3 is deducted as tax. Therefore, my advice is that you should withdraw your funds once a largeramount has accumulated in your account.

Note

When creating a Fiverr account, it is important to ensure thatthe spelling of the name on your Fiverr account, Payoneer account title, and Pakistani local bank account title are exactly the same. Even a single letter differencecan cause your payment to be declined.

HowtoBecomeSuccessfulFreelancer?

The first step you need to take to succeed in freelancing is consistency. After that, you need to continuously learn new skills and advanced-level skills, and keep polishing your existing skills.

Along with this, you also need to learn how to sell. It's not enough to just learn; until you can effectively sell your skills or products, you can forget about succeeding in freelancing or any other business.

And to sell any product or service, you need to learn communication skills, so strive to improve your communication skills asmuch as possible.

Additionally, try to cultivate ethics and a gentle demeanor within yourself because your customer is impressed by these qualities and your knowledge, and they become willing to work with you.

If you remain consistent in freelancing, keep working, and continue building your client base, then, Insha’Allah, you will be successful.

And remember this, big successes come after a long time, and there are no shortcuts to success. Those who take shortcuts may reach the sky for avery brief period, but then they suddenly fall back down.

WhatisPortfolio?&WhyitisImportantforFreelancers?

If I explain a portfolio in simple terms, it refers to the work you’ve done for your clients in the past or your past experience in your field.

For example, if you’rea graphic designer, the designs you created for clients while living in your city or country whether posters, brochures, or flyers are your portfolio. This is what you can send to clients on Fiverr so they can be impressed by your work and choose you for their projects.

If you simplymessage them and say, “I have 5 or 10 years of experience, I can make logos, posters, etc.,” they’ll never be convinced, and they won’t assign you the project.

The biggest reason freelancers fail is that they don’t have a strong portfolio or don’t bother creating one.

HowtoCreateSEOFriendlyFiverrGig?

Afterselectingyourniche, the first thing you need to do is keywordresearch within that niche. This will help you determine whichkeywordshavehigh demand and whichkeywordshavehighcompetitionorLessCompetition. Once you understand these factors, you can thendecide whichkeywordorserviceto focuson

If you choosethewrongkeywords such as ones with extremelyhigh competition or verylowsearchvolume you will struggle to getorders. This can lead to frustration and disappointment.

Intheexampleabove, nearly 100,000+freelancers are working on the keyword "logo design," making it a highlycompetitivekeyword. If you target this keyword, you would need to invest significant time, effort, andmarketingexpenditure to rank for it.

Now,let’slookatanotherexample: If we modify the keyword within the same logo design niche to something lesscompetitive but still indemand, the scenario changes. For instance, let’s examine this in the example.

Intheexampleabove, only 67,000freelancers are working on the keyword "minimal modern logo design." This keyword is farlesscompetitive compared to the broader "logo design" keyword. If I target this specifickeyword and build my gig/strategy around it, I could startranking much faster andbegin attracting clients almost immediately.

Tocreateagig, you need to switchtoSellerMode. Once there, click on "My Business" (or your profile/dashboard). You’ll see the Gigsoption click on it. On the top-right side, you’ll find the "CreateNewGig" button. Simply click on it to proceed.

First, you need to optimizeyourgigtitle.

A title is created using two elements: keywords+powerwords

Next, you must chooseacategory relevant to your service. After that, add any additionaldetails related to the service such as the service type or metadata and configure them accordingly. These details varyfromservice toservice

Finally, the last option involves tags. You can use up to 5tags, which can also be referred to as keywords or positivekeywords. These tags should closely align with your service. You can see more examples below.

Note:Power words are emotionally charged terms strategically leveraged by skilled copywriters and marketers to capture attention, drive action, and amplify results.

These persuasive phrases are proven to increase click-through rates (CTR) and boost conversions by triggering psychological responses in audiences.

Inthenextstep, you need to setyourpricing. The pricing table includes threetypes ofpackages: Basic, Standard, and Premium.

 BasicPackage: Here, you offer verybasicservices and mention minimal tasks/work in this tier.

 StandardPackage: You expandthescopeofworkslightly and increasethe price accordingly.

 PremiumPackage: You provide advancedwork, include evenmoretasks, and raisetheprice further.

Aftersettingyourpricing, you’ll see an "AddExtras" option below it. This allows you to charge additionalfees for urgent or specialized requests.

For example, if a client wants a logo designdelivered in 1-2hours (while Fiverr’s minimum delivery time is 24hours), you can apply an expeditedfee or extra charges for such rushed requests.

To clarify further, referto the exampleimage below.

Thenextstepiscraftingyourgigdescription. In the firstline, you can introduce yourself or briefly explain your gig.

However, the key point here is to mentionyourtargetkeywordnaturallyinthe openingparagraph. For example, if your target keyword is "minimal modern logo design," integrate it seamlessly (e.g., "I specialize in minimal modern logo design...").

Next, briefly highlight your experience, expertise, orcredentials inthis field. Mention the specific services or skills you offer. If youhave a portfoliolink, include it here.

The following section is the "WhyChooseMe" part. Here, emphasize whatmakes youunique why clients should hire you over others. Highlight your strengths, guarantees, or special offers.

After this, outline exactlywhatyou’reoffering in this gig. Break down the deliverables clearly. For better understanding, refer to the exampleimage provided.

Importantnote: Never engage in keywordstuffing in your gig description. Keyword stuffing means repeating your target keyword unnaturally in every sentence. This is considered spam and can harm your gig’s visibility it may not rank or even get published. Write naturally, focusing on humanappeal and clarity to impress both clients and algorithms.

Afterwritingyourdescription, you’ll find the "FrequentlyAskedQuestions (FAQ)" section below. Here, you can add pre-writtenanswers to common questions related to your service. You can also createcustomquestionsandanswers to address potential buyer concerns. This helps clarify any confusion buyers might have, enabling them to understand your offering better and place orders confidently.

Innextstep, you need to add a "Requirements" section. This is where you specify what information ormaterials you need from the client to start working on their order. For example, if you’re offering logo design, your requirements might include the client’s brand name, preferred colors, design style, etc.

Once you set this up, whenaclientplacesanorder, these requirements will automaticallybesenttothem. This ensures the client provides all necessary details upfront, without you having to ask for them later.

Thefinalstep in creating your gig is uploadingimages, videos,or documents related to your service. For this step, ensure that allvisuals(portfolio, pictures, orvideos) are highly professionaland original

GigImageSize: 1280 by 769 and Video Size 1920 by 1080 or 4K Quality

If you copy someoneelse’s images, videos, or content and upload them, the original creator may file a copyrightstrike against you. This can lead to gigdeletion or even accountsuspension. Always use your own work to avoid these risks.

For guidance on what types of visuals to use, refer to the exampleimages provided.

These are some examples of Fiverr gig images. By reviewing them, you can determine how to useprofessional images and the right style to adopt when creating your gig.

Remember, the more professional your images are and the better you present them, the more clients will be attracted to your profile, leading to moreorders.

HowtoBeatFiverrCompetition&Huntmoreclients

In 2025, securing orders as a new seller on Fiverr can be challenging because the market is highly saturated. For new sellers, reaching Level One and accessing the promoted gigs feature can be a bit tough.

FiverrAdsorPromotedGig

The Promoted Gig option, also known as Fiverr Ads, is a feature on Fiverr that allows you to display or promote your gig in prime locations and secure maximum orders.

HowWorksFiverrAds?

This Feature allows you to promote your professional services to your customers and secure maximum orders. This feature operates on a CPC(CostperClick)method. If a buyer clicks on your ad, you will you be charged. However, if your gig is merely displayed to a buyerand they do not clickon it, you will not be charged.

The key aspect of thisfeature is that your gig appears atthe topof search results, which makes clients, take interest in your gig and click on it. Once they land on your gig page, and your gig is well-optimized and your portfolio is professionally presented, they are 95%likelytoplaceanorder with you.

In the image, you can see that when a client approaches you via an ad, you will see a message displaying 'Ad' next to their profile. This indicates thatthe client reached you through FiverrAds.

However, there are certain strategies you can use to not only become a Level One seller but also secure a large number of orders. This includes what we call 'direct orders' or approaching clients through 'direct lines' (direct outreach).

We have personally used these tips and observed significant results around 89% success rate out of 100, meaning these methods have proven effective in most cases.

LandingPage&Ads

After extensive research, we developed a solution: create a landing page that showcases all our services and portfolio in a way that influencesclients. This page should be optimized through copywriting techniques so that when a client lands on it via Facebook ads, they are immediately persuaded.

On the page, we include a button linking toour Fiverr account orUpwork profile, allowing clients to hire us directly. If your work is high-quality and your portfolio is compelling, Client willhire you 100%, and running ads targeting regions like the US, Australia, Germany, or the UK will drive clients to your landing page. If your work

stands out, this strategy can help you secure significant orders, attract clients, and convert leads effectively.

For this purpose, you can use FacebookAds, GoogleAds, TikTokAds, and Instagram Ads. Keep in mind that your target regions should always include countries like the US, Canada, Australia, Italy,Germany, and similar markets. Never target Asian countries, as clients from these regions will not hire you in dollars. Avoid accidentally targeting any Asian country to ensure better results.

ClientHuntingonYellowPages

Another effective method for client huntingcould be Yellow Pages. Yellow Pages are a business listing platform where people list their businesses and share their contact information, such asmobile numbers, emails, website addresses, etc.

In the example image provided above, youcan see the business name, address, and contact number listed. You can reach out tothese businesses and explain that you are a digital marketing agency or a freelancer offering services like graphic design or digital marketing on platforms like Fiverr,Upwork, or through direct outreach.

Just as you need clients, these businesses are also actively seeking, leads, and customers from Google, and Social Media Platforms. But due to a lack of digital marketing expertise or not having a strong team, these brands struggle to generate leads or boost sales for their business

You can help their websites rank on Google, run ads for them on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, and charge a decent fee for these services.

If you check these websites on traffic analysis tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, you’ll discover thatthey receive millions of visitors. You can even send job proposals on contact details.

However, remember one important thing: before applying these methods, you must have a strongportfolioandaprofessionalwebsite. These assets should be compelling enough to influence and impress potential clients, making them feel obligated to hire you. If you lack a website or a solid portfolio and still try these strategies, you’ll receive no response.

Countries like the USA,Canada,Australia,Germany,Pakistan, and others also have their own Yellow Pages. By searching on Google, you can find theYellow Pages websites for each country. Once there, you can hunt for clients tailored to your services.

WhatisUpwork?

Upwork is also a freelance marketplace where a buyer or customer posts their job, and freelancers bid on it. The buyer then hires the freelancer withthe best bid. Upwork differs from Fiverr in certain ways, and we will discuss those differences and how it operates later.

For now, understand that Upwork is a freelance marketplace where people offer services such as graphic design, web development, digital marketing, content

writing, blogging, video editing, promotions, and various other computer-related services from aroundthe world.

JoiningUpwork

Creating an account or joining Upwork isvery simple. As we discussed earlier about Fiverr and how to create an account there, similarly, you need to visit Upwork's official website.

Once there, click the "Sign Up" or "Join Now"button. The platform will then ask you to choose between two options: joining as a customer (client) or asa freelancer.

Obviously, if you are a freelancer, you will select the "As a Freelancer" option. After this, Upwork will prompt you to enter your details, such as your first name, lastname, email address, mobile number, and uploadan original profile picture. You must submit all this information accurately and completely.

After completing all these steps, a verification email will be sent toyou. You can open your Gmailand verify your account. Once all these steps are done, you need to optimize yourprofile.

The platform will first ask for your title who you are, what you can do, and what services you offer. Based on your services, you can write a title or list your services. For example, if you are a graphic designer, you can use titles like "Graphic Designer," "Poster Designer," "Logo Designer," or similar. For further clarity, an example image is provided below for your reference.

After setting your title, you will be prompted to fill out a description. In this section, you can detail your experience, introduce yourself, mention where you have worked previously, specify your field, and list the software you use (relevant to your services), and outline your availability hours or preferred time zone.

You can also state whether you work individually or as part of a team. If you have a portfolio, include it here. Write confidently and professionally, using clear and persuasive language to impress potential clients and secure projects.

WhatareConnects?

To apply for jobs on Upwork, you need "Connects." Think of Connects as a virtual currency. Each job application consumes a certain number of Connects, depending on the job's scope. Larger or more competitive jobs require more Connects, while smaller jobs require fewer. These Connects must be purchased periodically from Upwork to continue bidding on projects.

To explore different Connect packages, visit Upwork’s website and navigate to the "Buy Connects" option. The pricing for Connects may change periodically, so use them strategically. Avoid applying to every job blindly to prevent wasting your Connects andmoney.

Later, I will guide you on which jobs to targetas a beginner and which ones to avoid, ensuring your resources are used efficiently.

HowtoApplyonJob?

Before applying for a job or bidding on a client’s project on Upwork, there are critical factors to consider. Ignoring these may result in losing opportunities and wasting your Connects. Here’s what to prioritize:

1 ClientHistory:

Check the client’s country, total spending on Upwork, and the average rate they pay freelancers. This helps you align your proposed budget with their expectations.

2. ProjectType:

Determine if the project is one-time or ongoing. Long-term projects may offer stable income, while short-term gigs might suit beginners.

3. TimeZoneCompatibility:

Note the client’s selected time zone. For example, if they expect you to work at 2 AM (Pakistan time), ensure you’re available during those hours.

:

Thoroughly review the job description. Only apply if you or your team can fulfill all tasks mentioned. Avoid bidding if even one requirement is beyond your skills.

5 RisksofOvercommitment

:

If you fail to deliver, the client may leave negativefeedback or cancel the contract, harming your profile.

One crucial tip: neverapplytojobspostedbyclientswhosepayment methodisunverified. If a job posting shows "Unverified Payment Method" at the bottom, avoid bidding on it. Similarly, steer clear of clients who joinedUpworkveryrecently (e.g., two days ago or less). These clients lack a track record, increasing the risk of payment issues or scams.

TypeofJobsonUpwork

On Upwork, there are two types of jobs: hourly-rate and fixed-price.

1 Hourly-RateJobs:

o Install Upwork’s time-tracking app and activate the timer while working. You’ll be paid based on the hours logged.

o Example: If your hourly rate is $10 and you work 1.5hours, you’ll earn $15

o The app automatically captures screenshots of your activity at random intervals to ensure transparency. Clients review these to verify work progress and approve payments.

2. Fixed-PriceJobs:

o The agreed amount remains fixed, regardless of the time spentor revisions requested by the client.

o Even if the task takes longer or requires extra effort, you cannot demandadditionalpayment unless renegotiated upfront.

PaymentProcess:

 After completing theproject, the client reviews your work and approves the charges.

 Funds become available in your account after a clearance period

HowtowritewinningProposal?

Before writing a proposal on Upwork, thoroughly review the client’s history and the job description. Read it once, twice, and even a third time to fully understand the project. Once you grasp the requirements, start drafting your proposal:

1 Greeting:

Begin with a polite greeting. If the client’s name is mentioned, address them directly (e.g., "Hi [Client’s Name]").

2. RestatetheProject:

In the first paragraph, confirm your understanding of their needs. Example: “I’ve reviewed your project and understand you need [specific task].”

3. IntroduceYourself:

Briefly highlight your experience, skills, and portfolio. Example: “I’m a [role] with [X years] of experience in [field]. Here’s a link to my portfolio showcasing similar projects.”

4 ProcessandTimeline:

Explain your workflow and estimated timeline. Example: “I’ll complete this in [X days/steps], starting with [Task 1], followed by [Task 2].”

5. PricingandPortfolio:

Clearly state your rate (fixed or hourly) and attach relevant work samples. Ask clarifying questions if needed: “Is this a one-time or ongoing project?”

6. AvoidFluff:

Stay concise. Skip irrelevant details, self-praise, or generic statements like “I’m the best.” Clients prioritize clarity and relevance.

If you're new to Upwork and have earned little to nothing (under $100), on the platform. Targetless spending clients, why?Because these clientsare often newer to Upwork themselves, making themmore open to hiring freelancers with limited experience.

Avoid targeting clients who have spent thousandsormillionsofdollars, as they will likely check your earnings history and dismiss your proposal due to your unproven track record.

By focusing on smaller clients first, you’ll conserve your Connects (bidding credits) and significantly boost your chances of landing jobs

IdealTimetoSubmitProposal

Based on my experience, the ideal time for Pakistani freelancers to send proposals on Upworkis between 2AMto6-7AM(Pakistantime). During these hours, your chances of getting noticed and hired increase significantly. Here’s why:

1. LessCompetition: Most freelancers in Pakistan are asleep, so fewer proposals are sent to clients.

2. ClientAvailability: This window aligns withdaytime in the US/Canada, when clients are active and more likely to review proposals thoroughly.

3. Visibility: If you sendproposals during Pakistan’s daytime, clients in Western countries mightbe asleep and miss your submission.

By hunting for jobs and submitting proposals during this late-night/early-morning window, you’ll stand out and boost your hiring chances.

PaymentMethodsforUpwork

When it comes to withdrawing payments from Upwork, you havemore options compared to Fiverr. On Upwork, you can link your localbankaccount (e.g., Meezan Bank, Faysal Bank, orany other Pakistani bank) using your IBAN number. Additionally, you can connect a Payoneeraccount.

For freelancers outside Pakistan, PayPal is also an option, though it’s currently unavailable within Pakistan. For Pakistani freelancers, local bank transfers and Payoneer remain the most practical and reliable withdrawal methods.

ImportantNote:

The name on your Upwork account (FirstName and LastName) must exactly match the name on your bank account or Payoneer account. Even a minor discrepancy (e.g., a single letter difference)can lead to payment rejection, blocking your ability to withdraw funds. When setting up your Upwork account, ensure your profile name aligns with your bank/Payoneer account title and your CNIC details to avoid issues.
