Dedicata a San Ranieri, il Patrono della città, è una festa cittadina che si svolge a Pisa la sera del 16 giugno di ogni anno, vigilia di San Ranieri, patrono della città.

Al tramonto si dà inizio alla regata in cui quattro imbarcazioni, che rappresentano i quattro antichi quartieri della città, gareggiano per il Palio.

È una manifestazione storicorievocativa che si articola in due momenti fondamentali: la sfilata del corteo storico lungo i Lungarni e la battaglia sul Ponte di Mezzo.

Un prestigioso festival musicale al suo ventunesimo appuntamento con grandissimi nomi internazionali, tra cui Caparezza, James Taylor, Lenny Kravitz, Norah Jones, Ringo Starr.

In honour of Saint Ranieri, the town’s Patron.

At sunset, following a historic procession evoking the splendours of the Maritime Republic of Pisa, four boats representing the city’s four ancient quarters take to the water in a race to win the Palio.

This historic commemorative festival includes two key events: a historic procession along the banks of the Arno and the battle on the Ponte di Mezzo bridge.

A great music festival celebrating its 21st anniversary this year. The line-up includes Caparezza, James Taylor, Lenny Kravitz, Norah Jones, Ringo Starr.

Il Bar Shelley è un vero paradiso per i cocktail, il regno del nostro pluripremiato barman Fabio Serra, che crea nuovi drink facendosi ispirare dalle stagioni.

II suo cocktail del mese si chiama Rock’n Mint, di ispirazione musicale. È un cocktail rinfrescante ed estivo.

Unisce la forza della vodka alla dolcezza dello sciroppo di zucchero, al fascino senza tempo del Brancamenta e alla freschezza della menta appena colta.

Assaggiatelo appena preparato da Fabio che mette nella ricetta tutta la sua misteriosa e quasi magica capacità di unire gli ingredienti in un insieme delizioso e perfetto.

La nostra dietista Laura Bettarini ci regala un piccolo consiglio alimentare.

Quando scegliamo l’olio per cucinare o per condire le insalate, spesso usiamo quello di semi dando per scontato che sia più leggero di quello di oliva. In realtà il loro tempo di digestione è identico, l'apporto calorico, il loro valore energetico, le percentuali di grasso assorbite dall’organismo e quindi le calorie fornite sono le stesse: 9 kilocalorie per grammo. È vero invece che l’olio d’oliva ha preziose proprietà salutari, e infinite sfumature di sapore e di intensità da scegliere a seconda del nostro gusto e dell’uso.

Nella nostra spa sono le manine dei vostri bambini ad applicare i trattamenti rilassanti con la guida delle nostre estetiste. Si inizia con lo scrub secco ai cristalli di sale caldo, seguito dal massaggio con burro idratante e aromatizzato. Quindi i bambini potranno scegliere fra diversi tipi di burro di karité con differenti fragranze e colorazioni . Un momento di relax condiviso, nel quale il benessere diventa gioco e divertimento.

Il gusto delle specialità toscane sotto le stelle.

D’estate è bellissimo gustare la cena all’aperto tra i profumi degli alberi da frutto del giardino e sotto le stelle del cielo toscano. La Corte Byron è intitolata al celebre poeta inglese, innamorato dell’Italia e della Toscana, e davvero fa onore alla poesia del suo nome. Qui potrete gustare le deliziose specialità del territorio come il famoso Mucco Pisano dal grill direttamente a un passo dai tavoli e finire con il must dello chef Umberto Toscano: il tiramisù nella sua versione rigidamente classica oppure nelle mille varianti a sorpresa.

I’ll do it, Mum! Your children can try their hands at relaxation treatments at our spa, under the expert guidance of our beauticians.

Our Bar Shelley is a true haven for cocktails, the domain of our award-winning barman Fabio Serra who creates new drinks inspired by the seasons.

His cocktail of the month is the Rock’n’Mint, a musically inspired, refreshing summer cocktail. It blends the intensity of vodka with the sweetness of sugar syrup, and the timeless appeal of Brancamenta liqueur with the freshness of just-picked mint.

Try one of Fabio’s freshly-made drinks and revel in his mysterious, almost magical ability to mix different ingredients into a perfectly delicious drink.
