La sostenibilità è ormai più di una tendenza, per questo i prodotti ecologici saranno uno dei principali argomenti trattati nell’area Let’s talk about it. Maggiore trasparenza in fatto di tessuti ecologici ed equosolidali la offre la Green Directory, una guida di tutte le aziende espositrici e rispettivi prodotti che si distinguono per la loro elevata qualità ecologica o per una produzione sostenibile.
Rendere la vita avvincente è l’obiettivo dell’Inventor, che lavora a soluzioni che uniscono funzionalità e divertimento, benessere e savoir-vivre. Le stoffe prendono letteralmente vita fluttuando, trasformandosi in ornamenti floreali dalla forte componente tattile. L’uomo sperimenta con stoffe da tappezzeria, lavorazioni a giorno e intrecci. I tessuti schiumati creano volumi vaporosi, ma trovano impiego anche veli tecnici, pellicole iridescenti e lattice. Il Geologist è un amante della natura e la esplora nei suoi strati più profondi. Conosce la qualità e l’origine del prodotto ed è affascinato dalle imperfezioni. Nel suo ambiente regnano i costrutti naturali, a cui si aggiungono grane grosse, venature che ricordano il cuoio, ma anche pelle rustica, pelliccia e sughero naturale. Le superfici più sobrie vengono ravvivate da effetti chiazzati. ●

Le tendenze si ispirano a quattro personaggi virtuali che si raccontano attraverso i propri gusti e le proprie aspirazioni. The Historian aspira a rendere la storia parte del proprio presente. Ama prodotti esclusivi di alta fattura artigianale e utilizza ornamenti di grande impatto e dettagli raffinati. Utilizza tessuti a strati, trame a rete e ricami artistici. L’ampia gamma di tecniche e materiali spazia dai pizzi a tombolo ai tagli al laser. The Eccentric ha una spiccata passione per le scoperte stravaganti, va in cerca di pezzi unici e di curiosità dal sapore esotico. Moderno dandy e bohémien, ama i tessuti eleganti come la seta tinta a mano, i pitonati dalle superfici sfavillanti, il jacquard orientale e le stoffe da tappezzeria.

It is the main International exhibition, Heimtextil covers the entire exhibited range for interior design and textile furnishing, residential and contract: curtains, upholstered fabrics, flooring and walls covering, sunscreen products, bed, kitchen and bathroom linen. The furnishing fabrics (“window”, “upholstery”, “floor”, “wall” and “sun”) are at halls 3, 4, 5, and 6, while household linen (“bath”, “bed” and “table”) will exhibit at halls 8, 9, 10 and 11. “The sector of upholstery increases with the presence of new exhibitors.
