MESSAGE FROM THEPRINCIPAL
DearParents,
IhopeyourfamilyhassettledinwelltothenewschoolyearatHamilton Itis importantthatyourchildrenarehappyandlovecomingtoschool. Attheendoflastyear,wesentoutadetailedparentsurveytogainfeedbackon areaswecanimproveasaschool.Highonthelistforimprovementsweretraffic flow,ECAs,communication,swimmingandcommunityinvolvement Iwouldlike theopportunitytoprovidesomeupdates.
Wehavechangedthelocationofthebusesandallocatedmoreparkinginthebus area Ihaveobservedthewaittimeforentryintoschoolonaveragedoesnot exceed3mins,andwecanclearourschoolcompletelyattheendofthedaywithin 20mins Iwanttothanktheparentswhohaveenduredthechallengesfacedin previousyearsandpraisedtheschool'seffortstoimproveefficiencywithdrop off andpick up Agentleremindertopleasereverseparksoitissaferforallour parentsandstudentswheneveryonefollowsthesame.
Weheldourfirstcommunitycoffeemorninglastweekandhadover160parents whojoinedthemeetingatschoolandcouldmeetnewandexistingparents.TheQ &Awasbeneficialtohelpclarifyanyconcernsparentsmayhaveandsetthe directionmovingforward.Thediscussionwasopenandtransparentaswework togethertobuildastrongcommunitywhichbenefitsallourstudents
Icanconfirmthatswimmingwillcommencesoon,andwehaveaveryrich sports/PEprogram.ECA’shavestartedthisweekwithover450studentstaking part Ithasbeenahugetasktoorganize,butthestudentslovebeingpartofthese enrichmentactivities.
Theparentcouncilhasmetandwillbeincontactwithyoutoshareallthe communityeventstheyareplanning,whichwillprovideparentswiththe opportunitytogetinvolved Theyaresuperexciting,andIamlookingforwardto beingapartofeachone.Ournextcommunitymeetingwillfocusonplanningthese events,sopleasesignuptoattend Moreinformationtofollow Goodnewsstory:
