"Little Adventure of Albay" is a comic that takes readers on a journey through the vibrant streets of Vijayawada, one of the oldest towns in the region. Created as part of our first-semester project in the Master of Urban Design program, the comic follows Albay and his mother as they explore the town's cultural heritage, bustling markets, and architectural marvels. Along the way, it highlights urban challenges such as overcrowding, narrow roads, and the decay of old buildings.
This visual narrative combines storytelling with urban design principles, offering a unique perspective on the town's charm and the issues faced by its residents. The comic was created collaboratively by Fathima Nishana and myself as part of our Urban Design Studio 1 project.
