AN EXCITING TIME TO BE A BENGAL

A few weeks ago, many of us had the distinct opportunity to see the class of 2022 receive their degrees at commencement. The backdrop of commencement was slightly different this year, as Holt Arena is currently under major renovation for the first time in over 50 years. As President Kevin Satterlee addressed the stands packed with family, friends and fellow Bengals, he stated, “What you see today is progress. What you see in the background today, is the University investing in our future.” In the past two years, Idaho State University has seen enrollment increase for the first time in a decade, a record number of donations in this spring’s inaugural Bengal Giving Day and construction on the new ICCU Bengal Alumni Center scheduled to be completed in 2023. In the College of Business, we have announced major renovations to our building to create the first professional sales center on a college campus in the state of Idaho and a world-class global finance lab—both of which will provide our students with hands-on experience that will prepare our students for successful and rewarding careers. Thanks to donors and friends like you, we are fulfilling our mission of bettering student lives through education every day. There has never been a better time to get involved with the College of Business and to start giving back to support the next generation of Bengals. Your gifts make a difference on our campus, in our College, and most importantly, they make a difference in the lives of our students. If you would like to learn more about becoming a donor and how philanthropy is transforming our campus in an incredible way, please contact me today at catherinerider@isu.edu. Thank you, and Go Bengals!
