PRESIDENT’S LETTER 22 years ago, a new company in the security industry was born, ISTC Corp. Even though we had big expectations we never imagined that we would achieve as much as we have until this day.

Located in the Antara Mall in the south-west of Mexico City,

According to the security integrator, this project provided them the knowledge and hands-on experience with the very latest technology. Thanks to this project, they are now better prepared to respond to any client’s particular requirements when implementing video surveillance solutions, such as aesthetics and the need to blend in harmoniously with existing design. In addition, they can now implement cameras, cables, NVRs and other elements under any construction constraints, and in such a way that they go unnoticed by customers.

Governmental Financial Management Platform will be located in the sector of Iñaquito, in Av. Amazonas between the streets National Union of Journalists, Japan and Villalengua, in the north of Quito. This project was carried out together with our business partner ISTC ANDINA S.A.S.

The contract for the construction of the infrastructure is signed by Mr. Salvador Jaramillo, CEO of SECOB and Mr. Yang Liang, attorney of the China Camc, company, which will culminate in December 2016.

The infrastructure will have places of entertainment and services for citizens such as: auditorium, food courts, media library, medical center, commercial premises, training area and spaces with green areas.

The Financial Platform comprises an area of 53,626.13 m² and 132,823.70 m² of construction with 3,801 public servers and will operate several governmental entities such as the Ministries: Economic Policy and Finance Coordinator; The banks: Central of Ecuador, of the State (Bede), Ban Ecuador (former National of Development), Bank of the IESS (BIESS); Internal Revenue Service, SRI; Popular and Solidarity Finance Corporation and Insurance and Deposits Corporation, Cosede.

1. What were the needs of the Project in video surveillance?

The project requires a total of 395 video surveillance cameras distributed in dome cameras, bullet cameras and PTZ cameras. The cameras must handle Ethernet communications protocols and the Power Over Ethernet POE feature in addition to features with high performance in resolutions, poor lighting behavior, frame rate, operating temperature and adaptation to sudden changes of lighting.

2. What were you looking for in the brand to ensure the success of the implementation?

The video surveillance system of the project, constitutes a very important part for the operation and administration of the building, so it demands quality in the equipment, observing also the after-sales technical support, stock of spare parts and presence of the brand with establishments of service in the country.
