YETÝÞKÝN EÐÝTÝMÝ SEMPOZYUMU

-Coordination of cooperation between Sabancý University, Dokuz Eylül University and Esslingen University. TEGEV has today 60 active prestigious members and 150 active friends. Last year TEGEV became a symbol of qualified lifelong learning and has gained acceptance in Turkey and Germany with private and public institutions. Traditionally Turkey was a country between East and West. The Silk Road is the best example: Anatolia and the Ottoman Empire was a meeting place for traders who come From outside countries. Expressed in modern terms: Turkey was the most important logistic centre in the Near East with a network from Central Europe to China. But global economies are changing, and local economies have to adapt to this change. In today's economy, the most important asset is qualified knowledgeable persons. Only with these persons, industry is able to develop new products and solutions. To provide industry with enough knowledgeable and qualified persons requires a complete change of our thinking: -from short-term thinking to long-term doing -from price to value -from copying to inventing -from talking to implementing -from taking to giving -from TV and film watching to reading -from waiting to using opportunities Learning is the basis of our future.
